We had 4 estimates to fix our garage door. Arnie's came in at 1/3 the price and did a great job. When others told us we needed everything from a new door to a new motor, Arnie fixed the motor and put a new hinge on the door and it works like new. I actually had Arne's Overhead install two separate wood surfaced, roll-up garage doors. The job went perfectly. What is most remarkable is that he did the job about two and a half years ago. He has stopped by occasionally to check on the doors. Last week was the most recent, checking to make sure his work was as good as when he did, it was, but he took the time to oil the wheels anyway...just in case. Arnie is a great person and was very thorough when explaining what had gone wrong. He was on time, despite having to drive so far to get to me. I like to shop locally when I get the chance but often find it more expensive. Not so with Arne's garage doors. Not only was the price great, the service was outstanding. He was here within a couple of days of ordering. Arne was meticulous. He even replaced part of the surrounding frame to make the fit perfect. When the door settled after a couple of weeks and the door seemed a little off, Arne was back within 24 hours to remedy the problem. I have never had such a beautiful experience as the one I had with Arne's Garage Doors. I felt like my fairy godfather had come. I initially called Home Depot and they recommended that I call Arne's Garage Doors to replace the springs on my heavy wood door. I called Arne on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and he called me back the next day at 10 a.m. He said he would be there in 30 minutes and he was. Arne was very professional. I liked the way that he dealt with me over the phone, and I liked his attitude and his appearance. He worked quickly, did not waste any time, and did a beautiful job. In just half an hour, he had the job finished. Arne's price also was very reasonable. I was prepared to pay more than what he charged. When he was finished working on my garage door, I asked Arne to recommend an honest plumber because my garbage disposal was broken. He got down on the floor of my kitchen and fixed the garbage disposal. I wanted to give him an extra $15 for that but he would not take it. As a former interior designer, I know construction inside and out. My experience with Arne was refreshing after the bad luck that I have had with other workers, from painters to roofers.
