Very Unsatisfied 3/17/2010

Very disappointed with Arlington Automotive. They replaced/completed a full rear brake job - which needed to be done over within 6 months, apparently due to a lack of knowledge and skill level of their technician. Front suspension - stabilizer and tie rodes were completed at the time of the brake job. This work was then done again 10 months later - again, due to technician error. Days after the work referenced was completed - along with a "thorough" mechanical inspection and tune up - we were back in the shop due to a very loud clicking noise under the hood. They diagnosed as gasket and timing with a heft price quote. Choosing to take business elsewhere - Woodfield Ford replaced a sensor which remedied the problem at a fraction of the cost that was quoted by Arlington Automotive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLEDS YOU LIKE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY. more

Ok Mechanic 8/8/2005

I used Arlington Automotive Service Inc. when I was in an accident. It was the other person's fault and their insurance directed me to use this place. I thought they did a pretty good job. I was kind of shocked at the price ($1000 for a little scratch) but i wasn't paying so maybe it was an insurance specific price. Anyway, they had a fast turnaround, I was able to get a rent-a-car, and they gave me a ride back. more
