Ark Pet Spa & Hotel

Our 2-year-old pit mix attends doggie day care here about once a week. She gets to run around with lots of friends and play outside when it's nice. She comes home happy and exhausted. We've boarded her overnight a couple of times. She gets a report card after her stay that reports her behaviour, how much she ate, and how she behaved. I love that they pay attention to all those details. We've used the spa for baths and she always comes home so pretty and perfumed. The staff is great, always friendly and pleasant. They know my dog by name. I definitely recommend all their services. more

Our puppy stayed before for 5 weeks and we were pleased but this time was the last time. I called to make sure they did not trim her as close as they did before. She has very curly hair. I spoke to the owner who is very nice. He made a note to make sure it was taken care of. When my son picked her up - she was all but shaved. She had nicks on her skin where she had actually been cut. They even trimmed her ears so that she looked like a cocker spaniel. She is a coton de tulear. I called and spoke with the manager who told me that they did the best they could because she was so matted! She was in their care. When she got there she was NOT matted. How did she get so matted is my question. For $396.00 I think we deserved better treatment. She will NEVER go there again. more

The Ark took wonderful care of my 2 dogs! My dogs were there for a week and we got to check on them every day with the use of their ""pet-cam"". When I picked them up, the dogs were relaxed and happy and even a few pounds lighter due to all of the exercise and play. They spend most of their time out of the cages except for nap times and over night times. The staff were kind enough to put a bed in for my older dog to sleep on without charging me extra. My dogs had never been boarded before this experience and I wouldn't hesitate to board them at the Ark again due to the positive experience we all had. Just make sure you call early for reservations, lots of others think they are wonderful too. Pros: dogs are not confined to cages, pet cam, clean environment Cons: none to mention more
