Arizona Chimney Sweep didn't leave a big mess and did a fine job cleaning up the chimney. He was a little reluctant to check the top of the chimney, but I said, "Wait a minute, they told me you were going to check the top!" and then he did. He was personable and did a good job. I've never had my chimney swept before. Do it! It's better than having your house burn down. I don't know how often that happens, but it's not worth the chance. Mine hadn't been cleaned in 25 years, so I figured it was about due. The service we've received from Arizona Chimney Sweep has been great over the years. My husband loves to light fires in our home, and when the chimney begins to smell ashy, that's when we know it's time to call Arizona Chimney Sweep, which is about every other year. They also do our dryer vents for us. They typically send the same person to do the cleanings, and it works out perfectly. They always accommodate our schedule. They are prompt and really professional. They keep everything in the work areas extremely clean by using commercial vacuums and tarps. I've recently used Arizona Chimney Sweep for the first time and it was great. I had just gotten a new dryer and the first time I used it, it said to check the vent. I called the gentleman who sold us the dryer and he said that 90% of the time the vent is clogged. He recommend Arizona Chimney Sweep to fix the problem. The young serviceman who came over was very knowledgeable, cleaned everything up, and explained exactly why we were having this problem. I definitely would recommend them. I was very pleased with the service I received from Arizona Chimney Sweep. They came in on time. They prepared the area around the chimney in order to keep it clean. They took the necessary precautions to do the cleaning effectively. The serviceman went up on the roof and cleaned there. He also informed me that there was no cap on my chimney to prevent birds and insects from getting caught in there, so he suggested an installation of a cap. He followed through with that, and the whole cleaning turned out excellent. Overall, the serviceman was personable and prompt. The guy that came in from Arizona Chimney Sweep was very professional and appeared to know what he was doing. I told him I thought I had a bird down in the chimney, but wasn't sure. It was three days after I heard the bird. I called and they came the next day. He looked down the chimney and didn't see anything. He came downstairs, opened the flue, and still didn't see anything. Then he went back up, looked down again, came back down, and checked everything a second time. He did say he could see bird droppings and feathers at the bottom, but the bird had apparently gotten out, which they sometimes do. He asked if I wanted a cap put on the chimney, which I did, and so he did that and it was great. I just looked for a chimney sweep online that would remove dead birds. I would recommend Arizona Chimney Sweep if you're having any problems with your chimney or anything. These people seem to have quite a bit of experience and seem to do it well. Arizona Chimney Sweep cleaned the chimney and checked the flue to confirm it was working properly for a vacant house (I'm a realtor). I didn't get to meet the worker who came out to the work but the people I called were nice. The problem was the work didn't get done on time because the worker got injured so it didn't get done on our originally scheduled appointment. However, they were courteous on the phone, answered my questions and I felt the price was reasonable. Alex cleaned our chimney today. He called before arrival that he was a bit ahead of schedule and asked if that was OK. He was friendly, efficient, and informative. I know it was not smart of me to put this service off for so long! The tech was fast and friendly and removed a BIG bag's worth of lint from my dryer vent! Arizona sent a guy out who was quick, friendly and professional. The one thing I would change, for future reference, was the slow lady on the phone for scheduling. They are very thorough, very helpful, and very flexible with scheduling. They work with me well and are very good at what they do. They have been amazing.
