Cheap student haircuts 5/27/2006

Arizona Academy of Beauty is a beauty school that offers cheap student haircuts. They offer coupons on the back of the local Fry's food store receipts which knocks a dollar off the already inexpensive price.\r \r The service and haircuts can be a little hit or miss as they are student haircuts. However, you are guaranteed a 'fix' by the resident professional stylist if you are unsatisfied. Occasionally, the instructor will comment on the student's work, i.e. your head, which can be unsettling, but you really can't beat the price if you're willing to put up with it. more

Ok place to get a haircut if you have a lot of time! 11/21/2005

You really want to place an appointment here, walk ins will spend quite a bit of time waiting if they are busy. The students are usually nice, but its over crowded most times, the chairs are not comfortable and it is by far not the prettiest place to look around at. But what it is, is affordable. They do haircuts, coloring, nails, feet and I am not sure what else they do. But if you have time to kill, you can save yourself a lot of money. more

Great prices if you have a lot of time 11/12/2005

I've been here for hair cuts and highlighting. Because everything is done by students, the prices are very reasonable. I got my shoulder-length hair highlighted for less than $20. The only downside is that it takes a lot longer to get things done here because they are students and don't have much experience. But if you are on a budget and can be patient, it's worth trying out. more

Arizona Academy Of Beauty 11/2/2005

When it's time for a manicure/pedicure (which is always the case in Tucson since sandals don't go out of season due to the hot weather), I go to Arizona Academy Of Beauty. Their services are very inexpensive. Although the majority of the staff may be students, they do a great job. I have seen some students make mistakes but they have mentors to help them fix the problem. They are very friendly. There are a variety of clients that come to Arizona Academy Of Beauty: kids, teenagers, adults, seniors. Because I'm picky on who cuts my hair, I do not get may haircuts here. However, I have seen some students do an outstanding job on their clients. The students are trained well in keeping their areas clean after each client. more

Cutting, Shampooing and Styling 6/4/2005

This is about the Best Scholl for Hair Cutting and Styling that I have ever know. It's teaching os their students is great, since they have the talent, knowled and ability to perform and give excellent Hair Care according to the Cusomter reauest. more
