Wow, I must said , I live in the city i was recommend by a friend that live in riverdale to the most beautiful salon I ever seen and the must beautiful girl, not just in person but in heart too,her name is kiwi,i've been going to a lots of up scale salon not only for hair but to relax, and some how by the time I'm done is always seem to be hell,my cut ,my color always not happy with it , I thought i was the problem but other people always seem to notice. Until i meet kiwi she listen and pay close attention to what i wanted, when I'm done i couldn't believe my eyes the best i look in very long time . thru out the week i got so much complement, i feel so good, and she even teach me how to maintain my style ,so i'll always look beautiful , she's an artist. When i entered Aria salon, i felt like i was in a high end salon in N.Y. I was nervous about my hair because i did not want a real cut but i wanted a change. The front desk coordinator's suggested i should go to the owner who is known for her signature cut called The Mill. My hair is wavy and below my shoulder. When Marija came over i could tell she knew what to do. The confidence level was there and i felt safe. She advised me to not only do the Mill cut but the color that goes along with it. The Mill color made my hair have three dimension of color that looked natural but fun. It had chocolate, cinnamin and carmel. I loved it and could not wait for the cut. Marija started cutting and it was something i have never seen before. You could tell she truly enjoy's what she does. It was amazing to watch her. My transformation made me feel like i was up to date with the times. I felt younger and real stylish. The amazing thing that my haircut had a change but she made it look longer than when i walked in. Marija cut some of my hair underneath making the top layer look longer. All i could say was WOW! more

nicest salon outside Manhattan that I've been to. Including Queens, Brooklyn, and Bronx. Prices reflect the quality, but still a good value. They use Aveda products exclusivly. They offer a huge range of services - very day spa! I got a wash, trim & blow out ($75). I have really long hair and they did charge me extra - $10 - if I remember correctly. Elizabeth was my stylist and she did an amazing job. On xmas eve day, I called for an appointment at 10 am for 12 noon. I was done in an hour, though I did not feel rushed at all. Make-up was included in the price, though I declined, as I was cooking and baking before attending a party later that evening. Italian chocolates, cookies and lemon water flowed freely! Atmosphere was lovely and unpretentious. more
