Ardda Animal Hospital

I don't know what universe this place is operating under, but they are NOT cat/kitty compassionate AT ALL!!! I just hung up the phone with the receptionist, deciding to make an appointment some place else. Reason being- they accept a free examination voucher from the shelter I adopted my cat LOKI from- BUT- I will be charged for the visit if my animal is sick! And I believe my pet has an upper resp. infection. So, even if (as this sweet woman explained- as sweet as an abscessed tooth) I had just made the appointment without expressing my concerns, and THEY discovered he was ill...I would be charged! Completely asinine! I even pleaded that I was low on funds at the moment and knew I would have to pay for medications, and that my kitty couldn't wait until Friday (my payday). Didn't matter. SHE DIDN'T CARE! It's all about the money with this place- not the animal. more

Dr. K saved my parents dogs life 3 times!! He had a rare immune disease that attacked his own body and was very bad off. Dr. K saw him right away and he was kept at the office for over a month while he was taken care of and nursed back to health. This was last year and the dog is 14 now and back to his normal self. He was very well taken care of by everyone in the office, including the night time cleaning man who spent time with him too! My parents 13 year old female dog had issues and it was just her time, Dr. K was very kind and understanding, and donated money to a K9 disease research facility in her name. I take my dog there now and we've always seen Dr. K. He genuinely cares for all animals and you can tell right away. Hes a great Dr and man. I recommend him to all my friends and family. 10 stars all day!!!! more

It's pretty bad when you receive a letter from the doctors own staff appologizing for the the Doctors behavior. He was cruel to my dog on more than one occassion. I did not witness the first occassion myself when my dog came home with both his eyes bleeding. I did see that when my dog was sedated and muzzled,he was viciously kicked by the doctor. I was not the only one who witnessed this. While my dog was still asleep and heavily sedated, the doctor demanded that the dog be removed because he had another patient waiting. I am disabled and he expected me to lift a 125 dog who was out cold and carry him out of the office so he could get another dog in the room. He yelled at me and I was crying because I did not know if my dog was even going to wake up from the medicine he gave him and even his help was dumb-struck by his cruelty and offered me help, appologizing the whole time. I only wish I had known this sooner, he may have hurt my other animals and I did not catch it. I have heard so many horror stories about him since then, even from another animal hospital where my pets go now. I received a letter from one of his staff members appologizing and returned my money, but my dog was traumatized for life and I still have nightmares about that day. Please... ask around about Ardda Animal Hospital, even ask at other hospitals and they will tell you the same type of horror stories they have heard. more

My dogs were patients there - 2 weeks ago my dog got real sick I called made appt. couldnt see him for 2 days. Fine..made appt. got call 2 hours before and they cancelled too many emergencies - I got them to at least look at a urine sample - came back he was very sick - needs tests -did a urine concentration test - my dog still never saw the doctor only a tech to give him a shot for the test - when he wss there for that saw he lost 10lbs in 3 months.Still no doctor-got call he needed ultrasound to look at kidneys - still nodr. I called them yesterday cuz my dog got worse-please see him today-vomitting,stopped eating couldnt walk was shaking - 3hours go by no call back-I caled Sreceptionist S.says(very crassly) dr.has ur chart will call u. She calls bk 10mins. later dog needs to be seen now we are too busy cant see him til Fri - go to emergency vet - WOULD NOT SEE MY DOG STILL...got him to emerg. vet - he was in complete renal failure and had been - if a bld test was done almost 2weeks prior my dog would not have suffered so much because of those horrible people at ards -please save ur pets agony and DO NOT GO HERE...needless to say we lost our baby yesterday... zero rating Cons: PLENTY more
