My two daughter have been part time at this daycare until recently when we decided to put them in full time. My 1 year old has started signing at home, as well as talking(babbling) way more! She is much more social and is doing really well with an implemented schedule. Her teachers in the koala room (Tania and Tatiana) are really great with all of the kids, they have really helped her to adjust to being in Childcare full time, and are great about keeping me updated on my child's day and progress. \r My older daughter started in the frog room, and really loved it in there. She loved her teacher(Jessica) and was pretty nervous to move up classes. She is now in the koala room with ms Caroline and Gloria, and is doing great! She is only three, and is learning to write her name. She does show and tell in class, and they take great care of her. \r Which is great since even I was nervous to have her in with the older kids at first. Luckily the director, (Sharon) convinced me that she was ready, and now we both love it! \r Overall, my kids have already learned alot since they've started, and I can't wait to see how much they progress in the future. The staff at KKA does such a great job with them! more

I am a first time mom, and after maternity leave was done i was weary of daycare, but KKA is right across the street, so it was definitley convienent. My son is 18mon and has been going to KKA since he was 3 mon, in that time I have seen vast improvements, my son crawled, speaks, and walks, plus he knows so much baby sign language. And ican attribute all of this to the ENTIRE STAFF, because its not just his teachers its all of them. Everyone is friendly, nice and i feel are great influences to my son as well as others. Because I thought so highly of my son's teachers I had my sister enroll my nephew, who before attending had never been in a daycare, now he can do everything my son can. The entire KKA facility and staff are why i send my son there, and wont ever change !! I love KKA and I reccommend it to any parent, its a fabulous place for your childrens enrichment. more

As with any business they are only as good as the people who run them. This child care center has been through some changes in search of that person and people don't like change. However, I have stuck by this center through some of those changes and I have seen it transform from a mediocre center to one of the most quality christian child care centers I have taken my children to. (and there have been a few) The administration is business oriented as some people have commented previously however, what remains true no matter what is that the children are NEVER put second to the money or the making of money. Every child is cared for according to standards and even above those standards by each and every teacher and the director and assistant director see to it that this is true. In my experience at this child care center is that good things come to those who wait. We have had a rough ride, but in the end waiting it out, sticking by this center and their staff was more than worth it. What is a result is a warm, loving, truly christian environment that I absolutely love taking my child into every day. If I have to be one of those working mothers unable to be with my children every day while I am at work instilling good christian values onto them, I cant think of anyone else I would rather have doing it than Kingdom Kids Academy. more

I have a 2 year old and 5 year old that currently attend KKA (but not for long) Within the first month or two of attending KKA my children got the flu, antibiotic resistant pneumonia, strep throat, adeno virus, and now the flu once again. When they were out of KKA for a week because one had strep and the other had pneumonia, when they returned to KKA Sharon (the director) threatened to drop my children (because they are part time CCAP kids) to let two fill time CCAP kids be at their daycare because my children weren't being there "consistently" and so they weren't making money when they weren't there. Excuse me? My children are 5 and 2 year old children, not money signs! I have asked KKA to pick up my 5 year old from Kindergarten twice and the first time they were 15 mins late and the second time they completely forgot about him! The school called them for 30 mins straight and could not get a hold of anyone, and when someone finally answered their response was, "who did we forget" th more

My 5 year old should not have to wait in the office for 45 mins because his daycare is too incompetent to remember to pick him up from school! Don't go there! Find another daycare! more

Not what it used to be :( 9/30/2010

My 2 children attended for 4 years and at one time it was the most warm, friendly, CHristian daycare center. The ownership changed about a year ago and since then everything went downhill, the front desk girls never said HEllo, good morning, goodbye, almost never even acknowledeged us as parents. The last 2 comments said it all. The reason the kids are sick all of the time there is because they dont have a janitor, they expect the teenage ""teachers"" to clean the classrooms, toys, etc... at night after the kids go home, I would often walk in at 4pm to find mopping and cleaning going on while the children were just sitting there. There was always a lack of suprevised activities when I showed up to pick up my pre schooler...and to my surprise he was learning about China and other things out of his grasp for being 4 when in fact he still couldnt write his name or rthyme. He most definitly did not leave with the skills he needs for Kindergarten. Buyer Beware. more

KKA NOT A QUALITY CENTER 6/15/2010

KKA use to be a top notch childcare center, my children started going there years ago, however as soon as they switched locations things have been on a steady decline and I would not recommend that anyone take their children there. \r \r My youngest is 9 and her father takes her there still on his weeks however I am trying to get that changed. She is old enough now to tell me what happens there REALLY! \r \r Several things to note: Her daycare van driver Karen was taking her to school one morning, stopped at a local quick store and allowed my then 8 year old daughter to enter the store ALONE while she Karen stayed in the van! \r \r She has another teacher there by the name of Josephine who tells her ghost stories and things like people who wear bras run the risk of getting cancer. Not things that I want my 9year old exposed to - HELLO these are adult conversations and I am sorry but I did not select for my daughter to a Christian Childcare Center so that she can be told Ghost Stories!\r \r She more

KKA use to be a top notch childcare center, my children started going there years ago, however as soon as they switched locations things have been on a steady decline and I would not recommend that anyone take their children there. Pros: Use to be a great childcare center Cons: Poor leadership, Poor Child Supervision Etc! more

Not as Good as People Say 3/15/2010

We have been taking our child here since he was an infant. I must admit that the infant room is fantastic; however, after he moved up, things went downhill. One thing that we dislike is that everything is community based meaning that they share diapers, wipes, cups, clothing etc. Pros: Good hours, not bad price Cons: Not clean, Changed management more

This is the best place in SW Littleton. They provide quality care with a dedicated staff . This center maintains morality, cleanliness and security for all children. 2/19/2009

They have been available throughout the entire year, unlike most schools. They offer a balanced curriculum along with social developmental programs. You are always greeted with a smile, and there is a form of security for the entrance. Kingdom Kids is reseaonably priced and can help families with a varied home/work schedule. Pros: Excellent staff. This location is dedicated to the community and its families within. more

Great Affordable Childcare in Littleton 2/2/2009

Our children have been enrolled at KKA for several years now, one still in preschool and one after school during the school year. We really enjoyed the summer program this last year as there was something planned almost every day (Hiking, Swimming, Movies etc...) I have met the majority of the staff and find the management (Penny, Avesita and Jessica) both professional and approachable. We wholeheartedly would recommend this program (and do) to anyone interested in childcare in the area. more

Penny must go!! 1/8/2009

This daycare was great up until they got a new director Penny. I had really great experience with Tammy, Kathy and Christine and the other teachers. My kids were there for 2 ?. They loved it.. They liked the cafe, the chapel time and the extra activities that they did was great. Penny came along and I took my kids out. She wasn't as inviting as Tammy and Kathy. Pros: Great Teachers Cons: Penny more

1 down 1 to go ! 5/29/2008

This is our 1st experience in ""day care"". Our oldest just finished Kindergarten at KKA and our youngest is in between the 2 and 3 year old room. We have been at this facility for 2 years. The Christian atmosphere & chapel time are wonderful as well as what they teach them about Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Pros: Christian atmosphere, chapel, small class size Cons: lack of communication, turnover more

Best place in Littleton, maybe in Colorado 1/3/2008

This has been an outstanding experience for my school age children. They have a ""cafe"" where the kids hang out, and can choose from several activities. They have a Makato Court, where my son has been able to make huge improvements in his agility and reaction time (he plays baseball). The employees have been outstanding in caring for our kids, and in communicating with my wife and I. The facility is wonderful, clean and well maintained. What a difference from our old center just across the street!!!! Pros: reasonably priced, good management, owner is there often Cons: they are closed on weekends! more

Excellent child care 11/4/2007

The teachers and staff are all wonderful. The curriculum is engaging and creative. Most importantly they give individual attention to each child and keep the parents informed of exactly what's going on in the classroom. They send a little paper home everyday with the activities, nap times, meals, diaper changings/potty attempts...details of what they did that day. It is great to talk to my son about his day and stay connected to what he is doing during his time away from me. more

Great child care 11/3/2007

We are having a great experience with our son at KKA. The teachers are great and the toddler classes are small with two teachers that really give individual attention and care to each child. They send home a note everyday with the activities, nap time, meals, diaper/potty info...details about how the day went. It is great to talk to my son about what he did that day, reinforce the lessons and stay connected with what he is doing while we are apart. They also have in school opportunities for the parents to get involved. I suspect that the negative reviewer below has older kids. So maybe it is different with them. We have found the staff to be attentive, kind and friendly. Someone is always at the front desk and they always greet me and my son by name in the morning. As far as security there definitely are people who piggyback at the front door instead of using the code. I think that happens anywhere. If someone is right in front of me I always just walk in with them instead of waiting for the door to close and then entering the code again. I guess the only way to avoid that is to get a turnstile where only one person can go through at a time...how many places do that? Pros: Christian, creative curriculum, caring staff, attentive teachers, open 12 hours Cons: non-organic food more

Outstanding Christian daycare 8/1/2007

We have been with this daycare for 3 years, and I love it. They just moved to a beautiful, brand-new facility. Contrary to another review, there is ALWAYS someone at the front desk now, and I have never seen unattended children. The teachers and directors are warm and caring, and we have had the best educational experience. A friend whose daughter just started kindergarten said, if anything, KKA had over-prepared her daughter for kindergarten. Pros: Christian daycare more

Kingdom Kids Academy 6/12/2007

This review was based off of the old building and director. The two and three year old rooms were the reason we kept our children there. The teachers in those rooms were great. Pros: religious daycare Cons: old building more

Great place 5/1/2006

A large facility, great staff who work with you. Regardless if it's financial issues, personality differences with kids, or picking your kids up from school later than usual, these people go above and beyond. Not the cheapest place in Littleton, but the most accommodating. Pros: Christian facility, Great staff, Accommodating Cons: Food, Older kids more

Outstanding non-denominational Christian daycare center 3/24/2005

My toddler has attended this center for about a year. The teachers and directors all exhibit caring, Christian attitudes toward the children. The center is bright, clean, and cheerful. The children even as young as 1 year old learn prayers and manners, and they have a great educational program. more
