Arcadia Radiology Open MRI

So my doctor told me I had to have a MRI done and I told him that there was no way I could have that procedure done due the fact that I'm claustrophobic. He said that Aracadia Radiology had an open MRI and they deal with patients all the time with claustrophobia. I trust my doctor so I gave it a shot. The gentlemen administering the procedure comforted me and I didn't even have a panic attack, before I knew it we were done. I will definitley be going back to Arcadia Radiology. more

My doctor referred me to Arcadia Radiology to have a bone density scan done and all I can say is that the customer service was AWESOME! I checked in on time and was greeted by smiles. There were no hassles or problems with getting the authorization from my insurance, which can be a pain at other offices from my experience. Also the procedure went smoothly and the doctor was super nice! I highly recommend this place! more

I've always gone to Arcadia Radiology for my annual mammo. I consider Dr. Nocera a friend, she's always nice and I feel completely comfortable in her able hands. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! more

So I've been in and out of hospitals most of my adult life and all I can tell you is I hate needles! I went to Arcadia Radiology for a CT. It was my first time there so I was apprehensive at first. That was all put to rest as soon as the tech inserted the IV. It took one try and I couldn't believe it, I've been to other places that have tried 5 times before they could get it right. Most of the time I end up all bruised up, but not at there. Finally a true professional!!! more

My doctor referred me to this place to have a CT done because I was experiencing a pelvic pain. I really don't like going to doctor's offices, but I can say the staff and radiologist made me feel very comfortable. more

I've been a faithful patient to Arcadia Radiology ever since I had an x-ray done several years ago. Well about a year ago I was extremely lucky to have my cancer detected by the radiologist. I actually came in for a shoulder x-ray that time around and the radiologist picked up my lung cancer after only seeing a small area on the xray. I'm forever greatful! I come in at intervals to get follow-up CT scans and on one occasion a MRI. In my experiences staff is always friendly and professional. I see the same technician for my CT scan and he is always kind and professional. I've been so impressed with this facility that I recommend it to all of my friends. more

For the record I can't believe some of these reviews I've been reading! I've been going to Arcadia Radiology for over 15 years now and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The main reason is that Dr. Nocera found my breast cancer when apparently it was almost undetectable. My surgeon was impressed she was able to catch it and my oncologist insists that I see no one else for my breast care. Not that I needed any more encouragement because she is an extremely caring and knowledgeable physician, I wouldn't consider anyone else! I can't thank Dr. Nocera and her staff enough for the great care I've been given for the past 15 years. more

The technologist at this office was top notch! He really made me feel comfortable during my MRI and the staff was super friendly too! more

I went to them to have an x-ray of a painful collarbone they said I had bursitis guess what 7 moths later I find I have bone cancer I pulled my xray you can see a mass on the collarbone which is now broke from the tumor I have stage 4 bone cancer thanks to not reading the xray right I am looking into Atty now. I also work in a docors office and they mis diagnosed a patient with breast CA. Save your life go some where else more

I was looking for their phone number to follow up to see if my reports were ready. I was surprised when I saw all the negative reviews. I've had to use Arcadia two times in the past 5 years. 5 years ago for an Open MRI and last week for an MRI and CT Scan. My appointments were always on time, and lasted just as long as they said they would. The technician (the guy with the pony tail) is awesome. He is very kind and easy going. In fact the first time I had a panic attack during the MRI. He stopped the procedure told me to get xanax from my doc and reschedule. He was so nice about it-it made the second time that much easier. I would say the staff was always friendly. The only complaint I would have is this time my CT scan was with contrast. The young man brought out the stuff to drink and just handed it to me and walked away. Didn't tell me what it was or anything. I knew what it was, but if someone didn't that could be a little uncomfortable. more

On my 1st visit to Arcadia Radiology, I was recommended to have an open MRI and Arcadia Radiology was referred to me by another physician. Upon my arrival, I was 20 minutes early. I had paperwork I was asked to fill-out and did so. After approximately 7 minutes, I brought the paperwork to the receptionist and was told it wouldn't be too long before I would be called on (she wasn't friendly at all!) After exactly 35 minutes, I went up to the gal and asked when I would be seen. She rudely responded, ""when he is available someone will call you in"". So, I sat back down. 53 minutes had passed from the time I originally arrived and I had decided that it would be best for me to leave and find another open MRI business. So, I went back up front only to be greeted by a different employee who was so rude when I told her that I had been waiting now for 53 minutes. She sighed and said, ""wait here a minute"". Unprofessionally she argued with someone off to the side and they told me to come on in. Hesitantly, I went back with her. Only to have to wait now for ANOTHER 28 minutes. The staff is very unprofessional and I didn't care much for the doctor. Upon my 2nd visit, the wait wasn't as long, but the staff here is unbelievably rude. It's almost as if you are putting them out by coming in to see them. Never have I been to any type of doctors office where I've felt badly by their own staff. They have absolutely NO PERSONALITY and treat the patients horribly. If you are looking for an open MRI, I highly suggest OPEN MRI & IMAGING OF PHOENIX. I believe their phone number is (602)253-0000. I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH THEIR OFFICE. It's night and day compared to Arcadia Radiology. Arcadia Radiology IS TERRIBLE! NOT A PROFESSIONAL STAFF OR DOCTOR! The doctor kept smiling at me telling me how beautiful I was. I certainly wasn't there to be told about beauty. I was a wreck as a lump had been discovered in my breast. He's creepy! more

I went to the doctor the day before I visited Arcadia and my family doctor confirmed that I was pregnant. During my exam at Arcadia the 2 technicians stated that ""I wasn't far along enough to tell if something was wrong"" & ""I would just have to wait for my blood results from the doctor."" No longer than 2 hours after my appt. with them they called MY MOM ((Not me)) and told her that I am most likely having a miscarriage. I am 19 years old and should be hearing these results myself, not through my mother. Arcadia is not the best kept place & I would not recommend going there. more

I went there for several MRIs on a Monday. The following Friday I had a Dr.'s apt. to go over the MRIs. Arcadia had lost half of my records and refused to give me my money back. There staff is unbelievably rude, and they don't care about their patients. Please save yourself the trouble and use a different facility!!!!! more

I had a late afternoon apointment with my primary care doctor due to intense stomach pain. After some probing, my doctor said she was concerned about appendicitis and wanted me to have a CT scan. My doctors assistant called two imaging facilities and the soonest they could get me in was Monday which meant I would have to suffer through the weekend. The assistant then called Arcadia Radiology and they told her to send me to their office right away. Whithin an hour I was having my exam. As it turned out, I indeed needed an apendectomy. Arcadia even offered to call an ambulance. After surgery the surgeon informed my wife that had I waited I most likely would have ruptured my appendics. Thank you Arcadia, and thank you to my primary care doctor. Pros: immediate attention more

Was a wonderful over all experience, from staff being friendly and nice to the ease of having a mammogram done on a Saturday. I truly appreciated not having to take time off work during the week to get my mammogram done. Thank you everyone at Arcadia. Pros: They were open on a Saturday more

This office is very unprofessional, I called 5x not once did that person even try to answer my question or even find out if I needed to come back in. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's a rip-off. Cons: Too many to list more

Rude, Ignorant, and in violation of Federal law. These people need to review the HIPAA and not hold records hostage because: ""we can't copy x-rays"" Per Federal Law, they must be surrendered upon request. Some imaging facility this is. No digital x-rays, no copying. Even my vet can copy x-rays!!!! Dirty, outdated facility staffed by barely trained techs more concerned about GIGO then QOC. Will never return. Also advised my PCP of the dump she referred me to. Pros: I can go somewhere else. Cons: EVERYTHING! more
