Worst

I think the Pirate Dinner show is more fun & interactive than Arabian Nights. AN is definitely NOT a romantic hot spot, but fun to check out!

Over Rated 2/19/2012

This place is way over rated. The price we paid was $55.00 a person to eat cold food . Poor service. And the show was just a bunch of horses running around . Go to your local ranch to see horses. Other than that Orlandos other attractions are great. more

HOSPITAL FOOD AND HORSES GOING IN CIRCLES 10/22/2011

TOURIST TRAP! We live in Orlando and cant beleive we wasted so much money on this! (6 people, around 300$ just for the admission). \r We all had different plates, and all looked/tasted like they were from a hospital kitchen. The service absolutely stinks, then they stand in front of you for their (not inlcuded) tips... The show was a repeat of people riding in circles and fugure 8's, a few good tricks.\r PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY ON DINNER AND A MOVIE!! You will regret it. I cant believe some of these people that rate it well went to the same place, I think those ratings are set up. more

Better Than Expected 8/6/2011

My boyfriend and I went to Arabian Nights last week. I have never been to a dinner theater and always wanted to go to Medieval Times when we saw the sign for Arabian Nights on the highway. Arabian Nights is cheaper than Medieval Times and there are options for dinner (and silverware) so we decided to try Arabian Nights. We paid the $5 bucks extra to get closer seats and it was worth it. The dinner was good, much tastier than I thought. I got the chicken and he got the pot roast. The blush wine was not so great and they serve it in gigantic plastic cups but you can get unlimited soda also. The show was interesting, it was oddly very America pride focused but it was entertaining and the show is really more for the horse tricks than a story line. At the end of the show they have an amazing magic trick we still talk about. I have no idea how they did it! \r Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The servers were very pleasant, the food was good and the show was entertaining. I recommend going at least once. Make sure to look online for discounts! You get 25% off just for booking online and there are plenty of other discounts online. The extra charge for closer seats was well worth it! more

A wonderful family experience! 5/3/2011

Our family went to Arabian Nights as one of our activities during a family reunion vacation before my husband's deployment to Afghanistan. We had about 16 of us, and nearly all ages represented. We all love horses, and they are absolutely beautifully cared for. Not only did we enjoy the performance and the elegance and agility of the riders and horses, but we did the post-show barn tour as well What a treat! We learned about the scheduling of the horses, they are very careful that they are overtrained or overridden and the stalls were mucked well. We were all treated like we were the royalty and found the performers lovingly taking care of the horses. It was obvious they had a relationship with the horses they were riding. It was an enjoyable meal, performance and learning experience for us all. We are from out of town but would make Arabian Nights a must-see on any visit we make. The horsemanship was incredible and these people really care about their animals, making me feel even more thrilled about supporting them as a business. Oh, and our young girls loved the 'princesses'! more

High price/Low quality 6/10/2010

When we were waiting to go into the arena, some guy dressed up as a ? with a towel around his head was shouting directions to the crowd. He was very rude and treated his ""guests"" like children and not adults paying a high price for his service. The show was OK and the best part was the horsemanship by the actors. The food, however, was worse than most buffets. We made one trip there and that will be our last trip. Pros: Good horsemanship Cons: Food; poor service more

Is it Arabian or Gypsy or is Western - could not tell - Hang on to the dinner rolls they are the best thing to eat. 8/13/2007

I was expecting an Arabian Romantic Story with wonderful horsemanship. NOT\r \r It began as a western, then some Arabian content and story line was awful, then back to western, it kept flip flopping between the two. If I had wanted Western I would have went to the Dixie Stampede. Some of the riding was interesting, the black stallion sene, walk in the desert, was ok. But the ever switching between Western and Arabian story, was distracting and irritating. \r \r The food was nothing to write about, the dinner rolls were the best part of the meal. \r \r My wife and I left about an hour into the show along with several other couples, we chatted outside about how the web site hyped up the Romantic Storyline that just never delivered. The only thing good about the VIP admission was better seating. \r \r Would recommend you Runaway, quickly. Spend your money on the many other things to do in Orlando. Pros: Cool Black Stallion Cons: Dinner, Show, Everything else more

Vomit-inducing food, Groan-inducing show 7/11/2007

There are certain things in this world that you can justifiably and reliably judge people's QUALITY OF TASTE and SENSE OF GOOD VALUE on based on their opinion of it. For example: if someone tells you that ""Alien Vs. Predator"" is one of their all-time favorite movies, you can reliably make the judgment call that that person has horrendous taste in movies, as well as zero sense of valuation of what separates a good movie experience from cinematic defecation. Arabian Nights is the kind of place that you can make this kind of judgment call about others. It is Dinner Show defecation. Consider this: it costs almost as much to get into any Orlando theme park as it does to attend an Arabian Nights show. Therefore, when it comes to VALUE and TASTE, Arabian Nights ought to deliver FOOD and EXPERIENCE worthy to rival an entire day at one of Orlando's quality theme parks. Strangely enough, there are reviews of Arabian Nights that say ""You're not going for the food! You're going for the experience!"" Since when is the food in a ""Dinner Show"" NOT part of the experience? I'll cut to the chase... I'm an Orlando native, so I've experienced much of the good and bad that this city has to offer. And Arabian nights is pretty much the WORST. The food and the show are torture -- torture that I paid theme-park-sized money to experience. Insulted and disgusted, I and my entire family left within 90 minutes after it started. At least 3 other couples or groups were leaving at the same time, muttering swear words under their breath as they described their experience. I must also note that servers (ours was NOT the least bit friendly nor helpful) make it perfectly clear that they expect a generous tip from you. It's like your teenage kid sloppily rushing his daily household chores, while constantly whining that he fully expects you to give him $50 after he's done doing all this ""incredibly hard work"". Tourists, STAY AWAY!! Orlando has SO MUCH BETTER TO OFFER!! Pros: If you enjoy paying the price of a theme-park admission for horrible dinner and a pathetic show, then there is ONE pro Cons: food, show, price, service, fascilities, costumes, dialog, actors, horses, etc. more

Complainers stay Home! 4/20/2006

I have been going to Arabian Knights for the past 5 years in a row with my husband (in the beginning he was my fiance, and he introduced this experience to me, hence we fell in love), we now have 2 kids, and they love it as well....it is wonderful. Anyone who thinks otherwise has to do a self evaluation of themselves. You can purchase tickets half price at Billy Bob's tickets in Kissimmee...so you cannot complain about the price--ever....and you are not paying for the food, you are paying for the experience.....the food is ok...it is not a 5 star menu, but it is enjoyable. We always get the prime rib. Definitely worth going once, WITH AN OPEN MIND, and in a good mood...some of the people who have written reviews on Arabian Knights I beleive should just stay home!!!!! more

Tourist Trap 7/11/2005

Being natives, the only reason we even considered heading out to Arabian Knights was because I scored some free tickets. From the minute we walked in the door we couldn't stop laughing at how the decor and the staff all screamed tourist trap. The show was horrid and the food was only moderately better. We figured that the only reason they're still in business is because they don't depend on repeat customers, only first-time suckers. more

User review by bsmith20 6/19/2005

Food was not very good and there was not much of it. Granted, it is hard to serve that many people at same time and serve quality, hot food. Dessert was a very small piece of cake, not moist! Recommended tip- $5 for each adult was based on total price of ticket for show and food - it should be based on value of the meal - about $15 tops- ! The show was good, although it seemed to just drag out at times. At $50 per person it was overpriced. If we drank alchohol I guess we could have gotten our money's worth. Pros: good parking, all seats are good, child loved show!! Cons: Food not very good more

awsome!! 6/8/2005

me and my family came to the show in april and we loved it! the whole expeience was great when we got in the parking lot guys answered all my qustions and were super nice even though it was a hundred and ten out and they looked like they were dying they were so nice the whole time and then let me park in a spot right up front because it was big enough for my truck after that when we went in the manager gave us front row seats because of my bad nee and had one of the beutiful girls take us to our seats they made us feel so important our server never let us go without a drink the food was awsome the show was alright but all of the help made up for it ten fold i would recomend it to anyone young or old!!! Pros: parking, food, freindly people more

Fan Forever 5/26/2005

I recently returned for the 4th time to see the show at Arabian Nights with my kids. I was totally amazed and captivated at the wonderful changes in the show that wrapped me in the magic that has always been enjoyed at Arabian Nights. Even though the show captivated me and I often ignored the wonderful meal in front of me, the excellent food became a distraction from the wonderful show. I have to take my hat off to the servers, for they were right there with soda and rolls, and despite the hectic pace they kept, they served with a smile. Bravo Arabian Nights. Once again you have enchanted our family. We will be back for Christmas with the family for sure! Pros: Great Show, Excellent Food, Wonderful Service Cons: bathroom needed TP, crowd in great hall more

Company Party 1/1/2005

When I heard that Arabian Nights was going to be this year's Christmas Party everyone was dissappointed. That was a pretty unfair becuase we all had an absolutely wonderful time... Good job everyone! Pros: Entertaining more

Fab-U-Lous! 6/17/2004

The show was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful. The VIP experience was so nice, I would definitly recommend it to anyone, just being able to sit on the first row made it worth the money!! (Not to mention meeting the riders, horses, taking a stable tour and seeing the Black Stallion face to face) This dinner theatre is perfect for families, dates, or a large group! It was the best two hours I have spent here in Orlando. Pros: well trained horses, talented riders, fun-filled atmosphere more

It's ok 4/29/2004

I would personally recommend going to Sleuths Dinner Theater, the food is so much better you'll really enjoy being a part of the show as opposed to just watching the show. It's a very fun time and you'll laugh alot while drinking all the wine, beer and specialty cocktails they have for free. It's a much better bargain in my opinion. Pros: Better Than Home, Horses are pretty Cons: , food is mediocre, staff is HORRIBLE more

Just took the family to Arabian Nights for dinner on Valentine's Night, which was also the night before the Daytona 500. It was great! I have to admit, my son-in-law and I went because we thought my wife, my daughter and the grandkids would like it. Well, we loved it as much as they did. My wife and I have been to Vegas, and this was every bit as good as any show we saw there, and it was perfect for young children as well. The service is wonderful. One hint: buy tickets online and you get the free VIP upgrade which lets you pet the horses and talk to the riders before the show, then sit in the front. The web address is Arabian-Nights.com. We'll be back next year, for sure! Pros: Great show, Good service, Good food more

Horse Food 2/12/2004

The food at this wonderfully entertaining and beautiful experience has gone down hill so badly in the past 10 years it is shameful. The service also has deteriorated but now-a-days that's par for the course. We attended every year for the past 10 years and my husband has said no more unless we get a discount and can bring a sack lunch. Pros: entertaining, beautiful more

Awful! 8/13/2003

The food was In-edible. The first and last 10 min of the show was the only parts with an ""Arabian Nights"" theme. The rest was nothing but a wild west show...very disappointing more

A memorable night 7/5/2003

Arabian Nights was really wonderful. My wife and our two six year olds and I all enjoyed the show and the meal (though I have to admit it was hard to take our eyes off the show long enough to eat!). We liked it so much, we're going again before we head back to the windy city. Pros: great costumes, great horses, great food more

Best Show in Orlando! 5/28/2003

Arabian Nights was great! I had a great time, and the horses were beautiful. I could not believe how intricate the costumes were, and the Gypsy Act was AMAZING! It was definately a nice change from the chaos of theme parks. The Stable Tour was alot of fun too... all around it was the best experience in Orlando! more
