If you are looking for appliances at a good price, sales people who are exceptionally helpful and nice, and a customer service dept that is great, then Appliance World is the place for you. Also when my appliances were delivered the men were polite and pleasant but most of all they exerted exceptional care and respect for my house and property.\r When I discovered a dent in the microwave they were very prompt and had a new one delivered very quickly. Because of this experience, Appliance World is now my new favorite appliance store. more

I needed a new BBQ and I remembered Appliance World always had all of the different BBQs in front of there store. I was very shocked by there service. Normally when I shop at Home Depot or Lowes I end up waiting around for ever for help. Not at appliance world! A sales guy greeted me right away and showed me every feature available. Not only are the sales people awesome but there prices are pretty competitive. more

There new showroom is amazing! Not only is the showroom awesome but the sales people want to help you. I did my shopping around and when I went to home depot and pc Richards no one wanted to help me. Not the average show room. The entire showroom is absolutely beautiful. I needed to purchase an entire kitchen package and appliance world was able to give me a wonderful demonstration of all of the latest available options. There are so many actual working kitchens there. It was just an awesome experience. We love our new appliances. Big thanks to our sales guy Simeon! more

About three months ago my wife and I finally finished our new kitchen. We purchased our appliances at Appliance World In Huntington. I just wanted to take the time to let everyone know how satisfied we are with all of the appliances we purchased. We were very hesitant to go with the Miele Built-In Coffee maker however it was worth every penny!!!! Our guest absolutely love it and so do we. My wife and I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Chris (our sales guy) and Appliance World for our wonderful appliances. \r more

Great prices. When I needed the appliances delivered I found out one of the pieces (my cooktop) was on back order which held up my contractor 1 1/2 weeks. I'd still recommend though cause they got the piece sooner than expected. Make sure you read the receipt cause it says they need 2 weeks notice for delivery. Also you'll probably never see a showroom as beautiful as theirs. My sales guy was overall great. Aside from the back ordered cooktop he was super helpful throughout the entire process. more

What an awesome place. At first I thought I wouldn?t be able to afford this store but I was wrong. There prices are very competitive compared to Home Depot and PC Richards. I was very pleased with how helpful the sales team is. Unlike Home Depot they weren?t just trying to sell me anything. Our sales man Chris made sure we were purchasing the products that fit our needs. Thank you Chris and thank you appliance world! We love our appliances. more

I am so glad my husband and I purchased from Appliance World. Their prices were dead on and they went above and beyond everything the said they were going to do. They made the appliances the easiest part of our kitchen remodel. My husband is one of the hardest people to please but somehow they did it. By doing so they made me sooo happy!!!! Everyone I know that needs appliances i tell them they must go here! more

Worst customer service experience ever... Sure they are great in selling you but if you've got a problem their service is non-exsistent... I had to call over 12 times - I NEVER received a return call... You'd be smart to stay away... Agree with other writer - any positive reviews must be written by owner/employees more

terrible experience 3/14/2012

i went here to get appliances recomended by my contractor. i was told i had to leave a $500 deposit to get the cut sheets. I agreed and then did my due diligence by shopping around. I found the appliances elsewhere for over $1000 less. When i asked for my deposit back i was told I could not have it back because they sent the cut sheets. I will never shop here again they are an overpriced north shore showroom. Perhaps they feel since they are in a good area they can get away with this. Make sure you shop before ever leaving a deposit here. overpriced! more

I was a bit skeptical about appliance world at first, seeing the reviews of this place and had shopped at several other places in town that carry the same brands they do. Once I walked through the door I wasn't harassed by the usual annoying sales man and actually got to breath and look around for a little. I was looking for a new refrigerator to replace my old one that I had bought at sears. I didn't want to use sears again because their customer service was awful. So I came here and wondered around the store where I checked out there working kitchens, which was pretty neat. Then one of the business men from the store came up to me and asked if they could help, and I told him I was looking for a refrigerator that was in my ball park...gave him the price and he found exactly what I was looking for. I ended up settling with a whirlpool Gold Energy Star with the french doors and bottom mount...I can say, I can not be more pleased. This business has great customer service, they know all their information on the products and plus they even deliver and install for a great price. I definitely recommend this place to someone who is looking for kitchen appliances and doesn't want to go through hell looking for them. more

Great people. Great Service. Great place to shop 11/25/2011

I have told a ton of my close friends about going to Appliance World and this is a great way to get the word out as well. Appliance World is like the secret of Long Island when you are thinking about redoing your kitchen. They could not have been more helpful to me and my wife as we went through the whole process. I see a lot of other great reviews about this place and I can tell you from being in the Customer Service Industry that: Very rarely do people take the time to go online and say good things about their experience. I can see now see why so many people are taking that time. At Appliance World they treat you like you are a good friend. They remember you by your first name and remember previous conversations that you had with them. You really get the feeling that these aren't just ""salesmen"" but they're actually there to help you. Fantastic time at Appliance World. You've got to check this place out. more

I decided to redo my kitchen this past year and purchased all my things from Appliance World. They were flawless with the entire project. They spoke with my cabinet maker to detail what exactly they should be doing in order to make a perfect look. They sent specifications of each appliance over to them so they knew exactly how to cut everything. The sales staff at Appliance World also spoke with my Installers and sent the specifications and installation instructions over to them. Everything went without a hitch! I loved shopping here. They have a beautiful showroom and they are constantly making it better. I'm so tired of the big box stores who has sales people who know absolutely nothing. Appliance World is full of experienced people who know what they're talking about and take pride in making sure their customers are taken care of properly. Great place to shop. Never going anywhere else! more

GREAT PLACE TO SHOP! 11/22/2011

These people are experts when it comes to appliances. Such nice people who you can trust! I bought my entire kitchen from Appliance World and they were phenomenal from beginning to end! After everything was delivered my salesman called me just to find out how I liked everything. I said ""everything turned out great, your delivery guys did a great job (and they installed); now all I need is someone to come over and show me how to use all these appliances ! (jokingly). He said ""I'll come over and show you, how does this week work for you?"" I was blown away he literally came over and showed me how to use everything. He even invited me back to the store for a cooking class with a real chef who cooked on the brand of appliances I had just bought in one of their live kitchens! Unbelievable company. These guys get it. They simply cannot be beat with their level of service. more
