Appliance Doctor

PLEASE READ: Appliance Doctor Company is very dishonest. One of the Appliance Doctor technicians came to our house to fix our freezer. Instead the technician accidently broke our refrigerator and would not own up to fixing the problem. We contacted the company the same day and continued to communicate with them letting them know how inconvenient it was to be without our refrigerator and could they have someone come out to access the damage so that they could repair the problem. Because we have not had any success with the company, we decided to write the owner to ask him how we should handle getting our refrigerator fixed. We were forced to take the Appliance Doctor Company to court. The judge granted us the money that we lost with our refrigerator and the Appliance Doctor is still continuing to appeal our decision by the judge. Because we do not have the money for an attorney to appeal, we will lose the money that was granted to us to pay for another refrigerator. They are the worst company we ever encountered. Alan was out yesterday and I must say I was very impressed. He was extremely personable, knowledgeable and repaired my refrigerator on the spot. He installed a fan motor and while he was here, I asked him to replace the icemaker unit since it has not been working for almost 2 years. He had all of the parts on the truck and just took care of it. He made me feel very comfortable about using them again in the future. The price was reasonable considering what he did to my unit, and plus now I do not have to go out and spend $1000 for a new one. Definitely recommend! Chrissy more

We wasted so much time waiting for them and then the person they sent told me my dryer was fine, and had me spend $250 on duct work. After that, the dryer still didnt work. Appliance Doctor sent another half wit who didnt know anything about my dryer. Finally we called 24 hour appliance company and they immediately recognized that our heater coils were burned out. Not too esoteric of a problem. so we spend a few hundred extra dollars, and it took 2 weeks to get it solved. These guys have really unskilled employees. Pros: none, I just couldnt find a 1/4 star Cons: unskilled repair people, got us to spend alot more money more
