My 2 dogs got out of our fence and were found by a Good Samaritan. He took the dogs to Applebrook to see if they were microchiped (which both were) and he was told they ""don't scan strays"". It took him an additional 2 hours to finally find my wife and for us to get our dogs back. When we called them to ask about it, they flat out denied it ever happening. So we left a negative review on their facebook page which they then deleted. Then posted a message saying that the fellow brought the dogs in but said he wanted to leave them there. Then they changed it again and said it never happened. They are flat out liars and if they had any compassion for the animals or owners, they would never have turned him away without scanning. They get paid to insert the chips but then don't want to help you out and scan them when needed. I was even a customer of theirs, so if they had even bothered to scan them, they would have seen that.\r I will NEVER go back there again and I highly suggest you don't either. Oh and just so you know, my dogs are German Shepherds and the one time I did take them there for an eye injury, they wanted to muzzle my dog. I wouldn't have gone back anyway, but this just put it over the top!\r more

I love this hospital, I went for a second opinion for my rescue dog and the care and compassion they had for him was amazing. Thanks to them taking the time to check him over, he is now healthy, happy and a great member of our family. I would recommend them to everyone more

April 26, 2013\r Love this clinic. Finally, a clinic that provides quality care for my dogs. I have 2 puppies and an adult dog I take to this clinic. The staff is caring and conscientious, offering complete and thorough care. The facilities are clean and a very peaceful environment. It's nice when your pet is going through surgery to have a calming place to wait. They brought one of my puppies back from a very serious illness. Thanks so much, Applebrook!! more

Best Animal Hospital In Oxford - Hands Down! 4/8/2012

What a great place to take your dog for veterinary care! We have been taking both of our dogs to Applebrook Veterinary Clinic for about six years. One of our dogs, Paisley, has had some rather ongoing seriuous medical problems for the past four years. Applebrook has been aweseome diagnosing and helping Paisley...each and every time she needs their care. The nurses are great, and the doctors are wonderful. Once we had a problem with an injury to oneo of our dogs late in the evening. Applebrook was glad to help us, even waited for us to get the clinic, even though they were scheduled to close 20 minutes before we even got there. They saved the life of our dog. Not sure that would have happened at any other vet clinic. Go to Applebrook. They provide great care and fantastic service. You won't be disappointed. Applebrook is #1. more

Applebrook Veterinary Clinic 4/2/2012

Then our older dog was having issues with her back legs,ordered her medicine,mind you only 8 pills ,then when I called for more pills was told I need to bring her in,she had been there 10 days prior.OOPs ....and when I requested that the Vet call me back I was told he would, he never did,,.oops again....Now the clincher is my dog hip broke,called the vet was told to take him to Newark animal hospital which we did,and I will.......... continue to take my dog to Newark Veterinary office ,where my dogs will be treated with dignity and compassion unlike our experience with applebrook,SHAME ON YOU APPLEBROOK VETERINARY STAFF............ more

Fantastic Applebrook Clinic 7/24/2010

This is such a wonderful clinic. I have been taking my dog there for four years. The entire staff have been terrific in dealing with my dog, who has decided that he does not enjoy going to his appointments. They were patient and understanding when my dog resisted his examination.\r I, truly, appreciate the care they give! I will continue to take my pet to this clinic. more

Applebrook Veterinary Clinic is good Vet Dr. 7/10/2009

Applebrook Veterinary Clinic is a great vet for your pets. I used this vet for a previous pet and was very pleased. A little pricey but most vets are nowadays. I would recommend them as a good vet. Only 4 stars due to price's for all Vets should be more reasonable. more
