Apple Store

I went to the Apple store in International Mall the entire staff seemed indifferent & bored to be there. One employee actually said to me, ""See that bored-looking guy over there, you need to go see him for your appointment."" When I sat at the ""Genius Bar"" a rep named Gustavo flat out lied to me. I told him I was not technically inclined which was a big mistake because he tired to take advantage of me. He told me that there was ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to buy or add more storage to my Iphone 4S & that I would HAVE TO BUY a new phone. I asked him again...there is definitely no way to add storage to my current Iphone & he said there is NO WAY without a new phone. I felt like he was lying so I told him I would think about it. I got home & started looking under the storage settings & there it was...$20 a year from Apple for 10GB of extra storage which gave me a total of 15GB. I'm a senior sales rep for a large International Medical Firm so I understand that they want to make sales, but I would never flat out lie to my clients to make a sale. It's bad karma and morally wrong. If you go to this store, don't buy something if you haven't done your research on because they will rip you off & lie to you. I love my current phone & never wanted to change it. I'm glad I took sometime to think about it. Don't make the same mistake I almost did. more

We, my wife and myself, both had some issues with a computer. We bought our machines from a big box store. When problems came up we went to them to have it fixed. They presented us with a bid, that was very high. I called the International Plaza store. They gave us an appointment, looked over our problem and fixed in right away, at a very reasonable price. We found our experience with them both helpful and courteous. I will return to this store, to buy and service anytime. more

The products as always are interesting, and it is about the only place that you can get hands on time with the products before you purchase them. But the staff is not friendly and the store has always been too crowded to get easy access to the products to try. Yes the staff will answer questions, but you get the feeling that they would rather you just go away. Pros: Acess to Apple products before you buy Cons: Very bad customer service, crowded store. more
