Recently, while shopping at The Apple Store in Green Hills, Tennessee, I had an unresolved misunderstanding surrounding the price of an Airport Extreme Base Station. Long story short, I called to confirm a price before driving to the store to purchase the unit and when I arrived the price was different than what was quoted me on the phone.
I left the store without purchasing the unit and called Apple regarding the situation. I was contacted on the next business day by a member of their Tennessee regional management team.
I am writing after the fact to inform everyone of the exceptional customer service that I received from the regional management team. I was so impressed with their professionalism that I requested a way to contact senior management in order to personally express my gratitude and appreciation. I was informed that this was not necessary but I insisted.
My experience in dealing with the Apple management team exceeded any and all expectations. As a devout Apple customer (and fan), I have been sold on the integrity of Apple products since I ""converted"" many years ago (having purchased several Apple computers over the years-not to mention the multiples of iPods, iPhones, etc...).
After my experience with the Tennessee Apple Management Team, I am now also ""sold"" on the integrity and professionalism of those who are in management positions in the company! This could have been a situation that tarnished my willingness to shop at an Apple Store in the future, but after my dealings with their management, I will most certainly be back and will additionally recommend your store to everyone within my sphere of influence.
