Our experience with Aphrodite Photography was terrible. Wendy was unable to shoot our wedding so she sent us another photographer. He spent half of my bridal portrait session trying to figure out how to use his equipment. When we expressed our concerns she told us he was very good and sent him also to shoot our wedding. Our pictures came back in distorted colors. She told me that he had shot our wedding with his camera in the wrong setting but that she would try to fix them. When she was unable to adequately fix the colors and we asked for some of our money to be refunded she completely back tracked and told us there was nothing wrong with the colors (despite my hot pink bridemaids dresses appearing in everything from orange to purple in the original photos). In addition, our wedding party photos are so blurry that you can't see everyone well and my bridesmaid group photos are taken in front of bright lights so that half of the girls are washed out. We received numerous complaints about him from our guests and wedding party. We did not receive photos from our early July wedding until well after Thanksgiving. This was a terrible experience for us and caused us so much hassle after our wedding more

Wendy was such a pleasure to work with. I went into my wedding planning saying photography was not all that important to me because I hate to take pictures. Well the first photographer I hired was cheap (let's not mince words) and I thought to myself ""good this will give me more to spend elsewhere in my budget."" Well needless to say I was getting cheap quality, poor customer service etc, I could go on. So I went back through the list of photographers I interviewed and remembered how excited Wendy was about the theme and ideas I described to her for my wedding. I gave her a call and was super impressed that she remembered our meeting down to some of the details I described. I booked her and that was the best decision I could have made. I went from hating to take pictures to loving it. Wendy was professional, helpful, always full of smiles and great ideas not to mention her pictures are FABULOUS!! I would strongly suggest you try to get on her calendar for anything that requires pictures being taken. I already have her booked for future events most of which I do not even have dates for yet! :-) Pros: Everything more

I met with many, many photographers around the Charlotte area, and was thoroughly impressed with this company. I met with Wendy and was very happy with how she seems confident in her work. The customer service was what made me choose this company as the photographer for my wedding day. I fell in love with the look and feel of the photography on-line, and the deal was pretty much sealed when I scheduled an appointment and was able to meet my photographer face to face. I truly recommend checking out this business! The work is true, original and wonderful! Pros: Reasonably priced and different! Cons: none in my eyes! more
