I recently had body work done at Apex Auto Body. I was rear-ended and needed my entire bumper replaced. Apex Auto Body was on the list of body shops whose work was ""guaranteed"" by the other driver's insurance company, and I selected them because I had read good reviews. I'm so glad I did! Here's why:
1. The turn-around time was short. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning, and I picked it up that Wednesday afternoon.
2. The work was EXCELLENT. The bumper looks beautiful and the paint matches perfectly. I also had to have the rear muffler/exhaust pipe replaced - it's as good as new!
3. The price is right. I wasn't too concerned about the price since the other driver's insurance was covering it. But the adjuster told me how much it cost, and I couldn't believe it! It was WAY lower than I had expected.
In the past I've had body work done at True2Form in Holly Springs. It was outrageously expensive, and it took them nearly TWO MONTHS to fix my car. The damage was fairly substantial (a drunk driver side-swiped the entire length of my car's driver side), but two months? About a year later I took my car to the Honda dealership where I purchased it because it was having problems. The biggest problem was that my car was shaking and making this horrible noise every time I made a turn. When I spoke to the mechanic after he checked it out, he inquired if I had any body work done on the car. I told him yes and asked him why - he responded by saying, ""Were you aware that junk parts were used to repair your car?""
That's right - True2Form used junk parts to repair my car. Not used parts, but JUNK parts! No wonder it took them 2 months...they were waiting to find the perfect pieces of junk so they could make their ""repairs."" I have no IDEA why it was so expensive. They're ripping people off. In my opinion, price should directly corrrelate with quality.
Anyway, my point is this: If you live in the Cary/Apex/Holly Springs area (heck, if you live anywhere in Wake County) and are looking for top notch body work and incredible service at a good price, GO TO APEX AUTO BODY! Do NOT go to True2Form (unless, of course, you want junk parts put in your car).
Thank you Darin! Keep up the excellent work! I will definitely be coming back the next time I need to have body work done.
