Aperio Salon and Day Spa

This place is a salon, not a spa. Don't book an appointment here expecting a relaxing pampering atmosphere. The spa (salon) is cluttered with junk everywhere. It is very small and employees bring in their lunch and eat at their stations right next to you. There are old cups, books, magazines, etc laying all over the place. I spent over $500 getting extensions there. Never once was I offered a drink or a snack. When I went to have them removed, the owner (who put them in & I paid $500 to), never acknowledged my presence nor asked me how I liked them. Someone else took them out while she was cutting hair right next to me. While I was pleased with the extensions; I expect a better atmosphere & attention if spending so much money. If you just want your hair done, this is an average salon...give it a try. If you want a spa, try elsewhere. more

I went to Aperio Salon for a facial and it was the best facial I have ever had. Betsy had a wonderful soothing touch and was very educated on all the questions I had. She also gave me samples that lead to me buying a product. I would and have recomended her to all of my friends. more

I visited this local salon for a bikini wax. I left still covered in wax and hair! The aesthetician did not know what she was doing and gave me one of the most painful- and least effective- waxes of my life! If you're looking for a neat and professional bikini wax, go anywhere but here! more

This is a very nice salon! Not only is the place nice, the staff are wonderful! They went out of their way to retrieve a water from a local store for me...i didnt even have to pay for it! All girls are very sweet. But besides the niceness, i really enjoy my new hair-do. I have very grey roots and the color i was using, just wasnt working for me anymore. I made a consultation and the lady helped me chose a color I needed. It was also very affordable. Most place's cost $$$ but i was able to receive a cut and and color below $100! I live in the area and it is very convenient to me. I could just ride my bike! I will be going back to them. more

I visited this salon on Saturday, June 19, for the first time and it was the worst experience I have ever had at a salon...if it even rates the title. I went in for color, cut/style, brow and lash tint. The hairdresser proceeded to dye my forehead, ears and the back of my neck black. Come to find out... she had only been working for two days after graduating school. When she was done coloring, I looked like someone had taken black spray paint to my hair, skin, ears, etc. I was in tears and not even the co-owner/manager offered any assistance in fixing the matter. The inexperienced hairdresser told me that after a few shampoos... it should come off. REALLY?? I even had to pay for them making me look ridiculous! I will post pictures if possible. Thanks to Holly at Perfect Touch Day Spa & Salon...318-741-0483... I was not forced to attend my business function looking completely ridiculous. What tops it off, is that no apologies or even recognition was given to what had happened even though I was in complete tears. This place is horrible and completely unprofessional. The only reason they received one star is because I had to choose something. This place rates nothing. more
