We had a great time on the cruise. We went with two friends visiting from New Jersey. We all had a wonderful afternoon. We saw beautiful homes and amazing yachts. The captain gave a great tour and the bartender Bruce, was very friendly. We enjoyed the free sodas. Highly recommend and we will be back more

The cruise was great, im from Alabama and i know nothing about cruises or any water at all. I was surprised and impressed with all the beautiful sights and yachts. There are complimentary softy drinks and free parking i recommend this to anyone looking to have a good time and see some wonderful sights more

This has been the best cruise that i have been on in the las olas riverfront. I have been to water taxi and it is very uncomfortable with repeated corny jokes and the narrators are nasty to the people. I thought when i visited this cruise with my wife that i was in for a water taxi part 2 but boy was i wrong. The crew was so polite and they took pictures of me and my wife and framed it in a nice silver frame. The prices for the food and drinks were great plus they had a fully air conditioned first floor and a shaded 2nd floor. The sights were incredible and I will most definitely ride this cruise again. more

Great experience for me and my wife. The complimentary drinks were great and the sightseeing was fantastic. I had no idea that there were all the mansions in fort lauderdale. We saw a yacht that costs 1 million dollars a week to rent it as well as many other fascinating sights. It's a great date spot and there are also many restaurants surrounding it. The crew was fantastic and the captain was very enthusiastic about his work. This was an experience that me and my wife will never forget more

I had arranged for a private charter on Anticipation and paid extra for the yacht to be moved to a closer dock to accommodate some disabled guests who couldn't walk a long distance. When we got to the dock the yacht wasn't there and I waited with all my guests for 30 minutes until someone appeared. We all had to walk to the yacht and I was barely compensated for this. Anyone planning Anticipated Yacht Dinner Cruise in Ft. Lauderdale...Anticipate getting ripped off, poor service, disgusting food, & hidden additional fees! Could have had a better experience at Golden Corrals 2 for $20 deal 8 times!!! more

Went with my girlfriend and another couple. We had a good time. The appetizers were great especially the shrimp. I wish they did the cruise on a different night than Sunday but it is worth going. more

I surprised my husband with a reservation for the cruise for his birthday. I had bought a voucher from Groupon.\r \r We found everybody on the boat to be helpful and friendly. The food was incredible! They had a special that night for prime rib which was excellent and I had the salmon which was delicious. My favorite part was the desserts. They were served buffet style and had many different cakes and pies. Definitely try the peach pie!\r \r The mansions along the route are spectaculr to see. I wish I would have brought my camera.\r \r On our way out we met the Chef who was very funny.\r \r We will definitely be back. more

I saw a deal on Living Social for the 2.5 hours dinner cruise and I thought this would be perfect for my mom and dad's birthday gift. I booked the Fort Lauderdale dinner cruise for a Sunday and then we were off. When we arrived, we stood in line to check in and were given our chips for our table, drink tab, and photos. We walked toward the boat and our ""professional"" photos were taken. We then walked in and placed our chips on the table where we would like to sit and told that our place would be reserved and we could walk upstairs for appetizers and drinks. When we got up stairs, it was standing room only as the few places to sit were already full. They served salad, shrimp, crackers, slices of turkey, and some chicken wrap things. It was a task in itself to try to stand up, hold your plate, and peel shrimp to eat. We all found ourselves holding eat others plate just so we could enjoy the appetizers. We definitely thought there should be more places to sit upstairs. The DJ which was singing was okay at best. He sang with all the songs and played the same songs again and again. We heard ""Besame Mucho"" three times. Then to make matters worse, the DJ would start smoking cigarettes and the entire back of the ship had to smell his smoke. Once he lit the cigarette, our party had to go back inside so we didn't have to smell it. We went downstairs to eat our dinner and were looking for the chips we placed and we were moved! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner cruise aboard the Anticipation yacht. From the time we boarded we were greeted with friendly service. We did see some other people who apparently had not made a reservation berating the young man at the door who was doing everything possible to try to accommodate them. After enjoying cocktails and appetizers, we were called downstairs to dinner where my husband said he had the best rack of lamb. I had the salmon and found it to be very tasty. Dessert was served buffet style and was decadent. We ended the night by purchasing a photograph so that we could remember our cruise. We have already booked again for December. more

We always enjoy being on the water & gladly purchased 2 tickets on the Sunday evening dinner cruise on Anticipation IV for my husband's birthday. What a mistake! When I made my reservation I asked for a confirmation # and was told I did not need one. It went downhill from there!\r \r 1. We were given the wrong location for boarding the ship; nobody answered the phones to give directions before the cruise (including the provided emergency number) & we had to flag down a water taxi captain to find out where to go (note: At least 6 other passengers had this same issue).\r \r 2. When we boarded the yacht we were told we had no reservation and were asked to move aside until they boarded the other passengers (P.S. Another couple had the same issue). When I told my husband that this was ridiculous, Brendon (? owner/manager) interupted and told us we should just leave because we were obviously not going to have a good time due to our frustration. I told him I had asked for a confirmation number to avoid this very situation and he told us we didn't need one. Clearly we did to avoid this situation. We told Brendon we would leave if he refunded our money, which he did not do. Finally after waiting about 20 minutes we were allowed to board - Brendon said he would set up 2 tables for us and the other couple for dinner.\r \r 3. No announcements were made stating that dinner was being served,\r \r 4. When we went downstairs to find our table for dinner, a tiny coctail table had been set up in the back for us. We said this was not acceptable and only then did Brendon admit they actually had a regular table that was vacant. We said forget it - we have had enough and proceded to try to go back to the upper deck. That is when Brendon rammed into my husband with his shoulder. We spent the 2 1/2 hour cruise with no food that we paid for!!\r \r 5. I forgot to mention that the ceiling in the dining room was extremely hot and water was dripping from the ceiling throughout!\r \r 5. All other passengers left the ship with photos that were taken upon boarding - we were not given the photo taken of us.\r \r My husband's special birthday event was ruined. We ended up eating frozen dinners at 10:00.\r \r Now you see why you should avoid the Anticipation Dinner Cruise.\r \r Brendon needs to learn about good customer service. more

I am a Travel Host and have probably toured every city in the USA and most of Europe.\r \r I was recently invited to a Friends Birthday Party aboard the Anticipation V which cruises the Intercoastal Waterway in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. \r \r I was staying at a hotel near Riverwalk where the Yacht was located and decided to make a weekend of it.\r \r \r Having a ""Been there...done that"" Philosophy\r I had no expectations about the charter and just wanted to have a good time with my friends. \r \r I was totally Amazed!!! \r \r The Yacht was Beautiful! The Crew was Charming. The Presentation was Above and Beyond. Our Dinner was delicious and the servers could not have been more helpful. Another surprise was how tidy and clean the bathroom was kept. Believe me I have seen my share :)\r \r The next day my friend and I went on ""The Riverfront Cruise Boat"" another vessel that this company owned. It was an 1 1/2 narrated tour of the Scenic Intercoastal. We learned about Old Ft. Lauderdale. We also saw all the Gorgeous Homes owned by the Rich and Famous. We even got a glimpse of the Gigantic Cruise Ships making their way into Ft. Our Company had a Fantastic time aboard the Anticipation IV when we came down to Fort Lauderdale for our yearly Convention. We wanted to something different and while browsing the internet we found this company. \r \r The Boat was beautiful, decorated nicely and the bathrooms were clean and fresh. The food was excellent and the staff could not have been nicer.. Overall it was a Great Experience!!!!!!!!!!!
