Having relatives in Boston, I've eaten in many of Boston's terrific restaurants. This is not one of them! Ten of us, celebrating my nephew's graduation, sampled Anthony's. The staff, from maitre'd, to bartenders, to waiter is poorly trained and rude. Dinner took from start to finish, 3 hours. My dinner, filet mignon at $34.95 was served with a wilted salad, day old baked potatoe and a glop of bernaise. The filet was dry, cooked medium, not medium rare as requested. When one diner complained that her steak was not cooked as ordered, the waiter was rude, arguing with her. Servers reached across diners to serve other diners. NEVER, NEVER eat here. At best, this was a $10.00 meal.
Pros: desserts good
Cons: poor service, rude staff, lousy food
