Answer Is Fitness

I sit here and read all the bad reviews about this gym. and it is so funny because Answeris fitness is so NOT like everyone describes. the people like Rohit M. that makes these claims is the people who clearly didnt get what they wanted in the gym. When you sign an agreement you should read what it says instead of complaining and whining to everyone that the gym takes your money. I have been a member since 2007 and i love this gym. i read the agreement and i uinderstand that you have to give a 30 day notice to cancel your membership and if you dont you are responsible fro the next month payment. that was clearly explianed and put in writing. dont try to make this gym look bad because you clearly dont knoiw how to read or understand agreements. As far as no service provided, LMFAO... rally thats why there are over 6000 members here, there must be a service. As far as no one at the front desk, there is a full staff on at all times and they all say HI when you walk in the door and when you leave and if they didnt it was because they were busy doing something else or maybe helping another member. Answer Is Fitness was rated the number one BEST HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTER IN 2012 BY THE SUN CHRONICLE. Get your facts right about the gym before you write these incredibly WRONG comments. also you get what you pay for when you join planet fitness, and not every person needs tanning! more

The facility throws off a lot of energy, it has a great design that motivates you to want to be their. The equipment is the state of the art and the locker room is unbelievable with great showers, steam room, and sauna. more

I have visited a lot of health facilities in different towns and this one is hard to beat. Good Luck more

Answer is fitness is the best gym around. The classes are awesome with great instructors that keep you motivated. I also love that there is such a diverse group of member from old to young and everything in between, you never feel uncomfortable. Best gym around! Makes you love to workout! more

Love this place...from excellent and friendly informative staff, too the smoothie bar and all inclusive classes truly a one stop shop for mind body and soul. I have been a member for 2 years now and have never been happier. I have lost 160 pounds and where I have tried other gyms this is the only place that I felt "at home" at and had everything I needed to acquire my goals and people to help me whenever with whatever I needed. more

This gym is VERY clean and stacked with up to date equipment. It has everything you need, functional equipment, sauna and steamroom, women's only area, tanning etc. The staff is great and the personal trainers are dedicated to getting you results. more

After they get you to sign your life away and take your money, they provide no service. There is no one ever actually working at the desk to answer your questions and if there is, they will just refer you to someone else who probably isn't working at that time. If you try to quit they will keep charging you anyways until you notice and then you have to fight with them in the facility and with their billing company. All they care about is getting your money and providing the least amount of service to you. Definitely not worth $25. I'm at Planet Fitness now for $20 with much better facility and free tanning. Not to mention I can bring a guest for free every time if I wanted or go to other locations. Hassle free and the people that work there actually greet you as you come and go. more

Answer Is Fitness has helped me a lot. The workouts never get boring because they launch a new track about every three months. The motivation is excellent. I have had a personal trainer for about a year now and she helps me a lot. Since joining them I have lost 25 pounds. It is a 20-minute drive from where I live but I love the workouts so much that I don't mind the drive at all. I highly recommend them. Give them a try and hang in there. It takes some time to get used to but after 3 months your body will be used to it and changes in the workout will keep the workout from becoming boring. You won't regret it. more

Great gym with great staff!! This is by far the best gym I have been a member at. It's always clean, the fees are affordable, they keep equipment up to date and the members as well as staff are so friendly. My 3 kids love the playcare too. I would not trade my gym for any other and I recommend it to everyone. more

This management team hasnt a clue about customer service. Unfriendly staff, hot, stuffy and currently smells like mold in here. Know that the music in the ladies locker and w/out area is so loud most of the time you cant hear your own music. Instructors:please, screaming into your mike during step class, cant hear you! On that note, does any one on the staff her make your members feel welcome at all? Why downsize the already small ladies workout area?Oh to accomodate personal training sessions which bring in more $. A 2yr contract in this economic environment? yeah, right. save your $ for WOW in Foxboro or the previous Planet Fitness in No Attleboro. Both opening soon!!! more

I tried my best to like this gym but the staff really turned me off. I like taking classes but found that the instructors taught to their friends in the front row and not to the ""uncool"" people who were new or not part of their clique. My very first spin class there was with the aerobics director and it was terrible. There were new people in class and she didn't even ask if anyone was new and didn't bother to help them set up their bikes. She was too concerned with her ""friends"" in the front of the room. She then turned the lights off so it was pitch black and played music so loud I saw a few people with ear plugs in!!! I'd been spinning for years and never took a class that unprofessional and unsafe. Hello, you have new people in class and you can't even see what they are doing is safe! I tried other classes and was again disappointed in the unprofessionalism. I finished out my 2 years and went back to another gym near where I work. What a difference! It isn't as flashy but the instructors are safe and care about all the members, not just their friends. I would never recommend this place unless you want to feel like you don't matter. I have been a member of answer is fitness for awhile. I participate in some of the free classes, they are great. I have also utilized the training - the trainers are excellent.\r The gym is clean, and the people there are friendly (I am from north attleboro, and see a lot of other people from the town there). Facilities are clean and plenty of equipment.\r Pros: lots of classes, trainers are excellent Cons: wish they stayed open later on the weekends more

I recently did a ""trial"" and was told I had 30 days to cancel. I ended up finding a gym closer to me, so I cancelled wtihin the 30 days. They told me I had to come in and sign something to cancel. I was then charged a months fee. I called to have it refunded, and they gave me a song and dance about it taking 30 days and that I would be responsible for it. \r \r I wasn't happy. 30 day trial should not equate to a fee. \r \r It was really frustrating and it is still not resolved. I recently found a charge to my credit card for monthly dues that were supposed to end 12/31/09. \r \r I was told that because I did not personally come in and sign a form 30 days prior to the expiration to cancel, that they could not refund the money.\r \r I told the orginal sales person that I did not want this auto re-new feature and he yet signed me up for it anyway.\r \r Even though I called the day it was changed to credit card, they would not refund my money b/c I did not come in person. \r \r I am very disappointed in this establishment and would not reccommend it to anyone. I was told 24.99 a month they signed me up for 35.99 and took out over due fees bounced my bank account because they took more than was agreed upon. treated me like I was no good and told me I should have not had my bank account bounce because of them it was my fault. I have been speaking to whom ever answers the phone or whom is at the desk when I come in for almost a month now to get my money. I am told I need to speak with Jim Disteo the employee that signed me up. Then I was told I could speak wity Dan Fortier the General Manager but niether is ever there and dont call me back. I have been a member of Planet Fitness in Norton for 3 years and have never had a billing problem. I also have never been treat the way answer is fitness has treated me. Reading all the other reviews you would have to be dumby not to know that these are the employees arguing over what gym is the best. Quite frankly I went to college and lived in the area my whole life and I have worked out Fitness Plus which in the day was nice club and still is a decent club. Fitness Plus has all ways been the only club to work out at except for the Y which is joke. Its not bad but needs to be cleaned up. I went to this Answer is Fitness after knowing the owners of Fitness Plus. I thought it was going to be this little gym with no equipment, if I listened to the staff at Fitness plus. To my surprise it was nice and clean and the staff is pushy but I think its because they really think its the best and there is nothing wrong with that because thats called pride. The pushyness was more so I would reach my goals then joining. He actually said if the price is too high maybe its not for you. I threatened, I was going somewhere else and he said please if thats what you want I support that. He reiterated if you reach your goals there that could be the place for you. He did say one thing that made me go back after not joining for about a month. He said where about educating you on fitness and if you need assistance where there for you. I remembered that and realized a gym is not a gym its my health and my gym never said that!! Thats the difference. 25 lbs. later I feel great and would never go anywhere else. After the way I was treated I would suggest to anyone do not join this gym. The staff was arrogant & downright rude. I had called to see about joining & was told by a sales rep that I could join for the lowest rate of $19.99. However, when I got there to sign the paper work I was told that it would be $29.99. I explained to the rep that $29.99 was not the price I was quoted earlier & he basically said that I was a liar, that the other sales rep would have NEVER quoted me that price. I then informed him that Fitness Plus was running a special rate of $19.99 & he said that?s like comparing a Mercedes Benz to a Honda!! Please! Your gym isn?t all that! Get over yourselves. The next day I called the original sales rep I had spoken to. He said that he?d send me an e-mail & let me know what he could do for me. Guess what .. big surprise I never heard from him. I felt like I was talking with sleazy car sales men. It?s a nice facility, to bad their sales people ruin it. So anyone how askes me, I'll be letting them know don't JOIN!
