Not too happy 1/10/2013

Dr Ansede is a wonderful doctor and great with my dog. However, he has a vet tech, black woman ( I don't know her name) who is rough with the animals, my dog does not like her (he likes everyone). She has taken him to the back to do things to him and he cries. I won't be back. There used to be an older white woman there that my dog loved, i dont see here there anymore. Im going to another vet. Also, Dr Ansede doesnt do any surgery, I dont understand that, I got a bill from another vet (she travels to different sites)?? more

So Happy And So Thankful For Finding Ansede 10/23/2010

I am so thankful I found this vet. My cat needed to have a few teeth pulled. I went to a vet in Chapel Hill and was quoted\r 1,500.00 and that did not include the blood work!! I was shocked,\r upset and had no idea what I was going to do. I did a search on\r the internet and found Ansede Animal Hospital. After the vet took care of her teeth and gum problems I brought her home and she recovered quickly. The best part is it cost me less then $400.00 for everything! more

excellent staff, Dr. Ansede is the BEST! 10/20/2010

Unfortunatly we met Dr. Ansede and staff because we had adopted a puppy that was sick with Parvo, we had to have her put down, they were so kind and compashionat with my Daughter and I. Never having delt with this disease before they explained and adressed all our concerns and worked with us to make sure my other dogs where checked and remained healthy. We have always had dogs and I have only had one other Vet years ago that we loved this much. The entire staff is wonderfull when my one dog got sick I recieved phone calls to check up on him and they really cared and listened to me and my concerns. I am proud to say we have 7 healthy happy dogs and I tell everyone about this wonderful Vet. Seriously if you don't belive how great they are go visit them, you won't regret it, money is very tight with me they are very reasonable and are willing to work with you to provide the best care you can provide without making you feel like your a bad pet parent because you cant afford all the to more

Crazy Cat Lady 3/5/2010

Dr. Ansede and staff have shown compassion, competence, and professionalism when caring for my precious kitties. All services have been performed in an excellent manner. Dr. and staff communicated with me clearly and showed great understanding when I expressed anxiety about certain procedures to be performed. Cost of services are very reasonable, and all options are thoroughly discussed. I completely trust this vet and his staff. more

Quality Affordable Care Friendly Staff 1/11/2010

I have been very pleased with the quality of care and friendly staff at Ansede Animal Hospital. It is easy to get an appointment scheduled when needed, and the staff is familiar with our dog by name. They called a day or two after her surgery to check to see how she was doing, they are gentle with her and understand she is sensitive to the touch in some areas due to past injuries. Their pricing is affordable and their offices are clean (although not flashy, which I'm certain helps to keep pass-thru expenses to a minimum). I would recommend this vet to others, especially those seeking affordable and quality care. more

Ansede Animal Hospital is awesome 12/10/2009

Great vet! I started going here when I felt my other vet was pushing ridiculous services my dog did not need. Ansede offers several package deals that are great if your animal is in reasonably good shape - these include check ups, heartworm and flea meds, testing, etc. They're always very patient and careful with my incredibly nervous weirdo of a dog. While they do offer other services they never insist or imply you are a bad pet owner for not spending hundreds of dollars on, say, grooming. I've taken my dog for check ups and for various illnesses and they've always been fast, fair, and kind; in addition they are sensitive to those of us without a lot of extra cash. I'll keep going here as long as I have animals. more

Great Vet 4/29/2009

My dog is 10 and I just started taking him to Dr. Ansede and have been extremely pleased. At my old vet's office, the practice is so large that even after 10 years (including 2 surgery referrals), no one knows my dog. Ansede Animal Hospital is different. Both Doc and staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and caring, and really provide that personal touch, which is exactly what I was looking for. more

WONDERFUL, Wonderful, wonderful VET 8/20/2008

I have had multiple vets and pets all my life and know that if you take good care of both and listen to the advice of your vet, you won't go wrong. Dr. Ansede and his staff have gotten many recommendations and praises from all of our buddies (2 and 4 legged) at the dog park in Raleigh for their extraordinary care. We run a medical office and understand how important and vital good, clear communication, affordable prices and a vet (and staff) who cares and is available all the time make up for all the injustices in healthcare. We are able to drop off our animals before we go to work and pick them up at the end of the day - all healed and vaccinated for a reasonable cost and know they are safe. We are properly informed of all options, costs and we can make informed decisions in a timely manner. You and your staff are the greatest Dr. Ansede! Wish I could bring you donuts more often. And yes, my dog is still fat/ I mean big boned. more

Dr. Ansede and Ansede Animal Hospital is the best in my opinion! 6/6/2008

We have had nothing but the best experience with Dr. Ansede and his staff. EVERYONE is kind to my pets and polite and professional. We have 3 dogs, mixed breeds, that we have been taking to Dr. Ansede for years. They each participate in his wellness plan and are seen routinely every six months to keep them in the best of health. Dr. Ansede is extremely knowledgeable and if your pet needs something more than his scope of services can provide, he is not hesitant to get another specialist involved! And he always keeps pet owner's financial situation in mind with his recommendation. I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Ansede and they ALL are just as pleased as I am! I think sometimes pet owner's feel guilty if they cannot meet the financial obligations of taking care of a pet and it is easier to blame it on the vet than taking the responsibility on themselves. Wonderful Vet 3/13/2008

I bring both of my precious kitties, Tyson and Layla, to Ansede every year for their check ups. The Dr and staff have always taken the time to answer all my questions and believe me they are numerous. The staff even worked with me to get my cats fixed at an affordable rate. I think the difference between myself and the other reviewers is that I get care for my pets from day one, not just after the pet develops a problem. Maintaining preventive measures is much more affordable in the long run. more

Incompetence 3/7/2008

Ansede Animal Hospital of Raleigh, NC 27603. Our family has been working with an outdoor, feral female cat for the last 6 months, to the point that we can pet her while we are feeding her. My wife has the most contact with her and can pick her up. Since she is a very loving animal with potential to be our indoor pet, we made plans with the local Vet (above), to get her fixed and tested. My wife scheduled the appointment and made it clear that this animal was a feral animal. She took it to the Vet this morning, caged and told them that they had to be careful, being that she could be picked up only by her(my wife) even though my daughter pets the animal. They agreed and took her back to the kennels. My wife prepaid for the surgery and left. Minutes later she received a call from the Vet that the cat had scratched and bit one of the technicians. (the tech was not wearing the standard protective gloves). The Vet also informed my wife that we would now have to pay for the animal to stay at more

It is disheartening when we see clients not pleased with our services. However, when we come across posts that are inaccurate we feel the urgency to respond.\r We pulled the record of the case Anjana is referring to. Several things come up that do not match with her claim. We commonly refer to these things as FACTS.\r Fact: Anjana spent a total of $537.98 in the span of two years. 2003- 2005. We are unsure where she got the "thousands of dollars" comment.\r Fact: Several attempts were made by us to bring the pet back in for care were declined when she complained the pet was not improving.\r Fact: Reasons she stated she could not bring the pet in were financial.\r Fact; We offered a referral to NC State. Again declined.\r Fact: The services also includes an euthanasia. Apparently we weren't so bad that they brought their pet back to us to relieve its suffering.\r \r \r Unfortunately we are not at the point where we can heal via divine touch.
