Excellent experience in removal of squamous cell skin cancer 10/13/2017

Skin cancers can create tremendous apprehension for a patient. Recently It was necessary to remove a squamous cell skin cancer from my ear, a procedure which also required a skin graft. Dr. Alan Harrington and his staff were extremely efficient, most capable, patient, and informative throughout my visit. The procedure began at the scheduled time, the technicians answered all my questions, and Dr. Harrington explained exactly what he planned to do. I felt very confident in their hands. more

Great overall experience 6/28/2017

The Annapolis surgical center is first rate. Dr Harrington and his surgical assistant Nick put me immediately at ease, were helpful in explaining the procedure and follow-up and worked to make it as painless as possible. I highly recommend them! more

Great service! 5/31/2017

The front desk staff is professional and helpful. The wait time is not too long and Dr. Gwynn is absolutely fabulous. She made me feel like she cared about my daughter and actually listened to my concerns. She offered advice and knowledge clearly and I left the office with a better understanding of my daughter's condition and how to treat it. The visit did not feel rushed at all. more

Initial consultation 5/24/2017

Went in for an initial consultation into procedures for hyperpigmentation. Marla was FANTASTIC and answered all my questions. Once I am done with the current treatment of Hydroquinone that I am on I plan to schedule an IPL to help with my broken capillaries. I am very happy that the doctor was able to take a look at some marks that I was concerned about. He also prescribed me Tretinoin which I am very happy about. more

Excellent Experience 5/19/2017

I had an appointment for a routine annual exam to check for any potential problem areas regarding possible skin cancer. Everyone I met was friendly and professional, and I was called back at exactly my appointment time. My examination was thorough and professional, and I really felt like they cared and wanted to make me feel good about my experience. Noticing a couple precancerous spots on my face, they quickly rectified the problem with squirts of liquid nitrogen (freezing the areas). I was completely satisfied and out of the office before I would have even been called back in other doctor's offices. more

Excellent Practitioners and Practice 3/14/2017

I received outstanding service from the kind lady who answered the phone to make my appointment to the knowledgeable practitioner who provided my care. I have been to 2 other physicians and ER without diagnosis or helpful treatment. The PA (Jamie) I saw, diagnosed me instantly and put me on the way to recovery. This practice is very professional and truly seems to care about patients. Thank you Anne Arundel Dermatology for helping this suffering patient. more

My Dermatology 2/8/2017

I have been with Anne Arundel Dermatology for about 2 and a half years. I absolutely love them. The staff is very friendly and Dr.Sammy Kang is just so pleasant. I love him!!! I have history of skin cancer and he has kept me in check. He is always thorough and pleasant. Explains everything and is very gentle and caring. I highly recommend them all. Also they have many locations for convenience. more

Herd patients like cattle - and overcharge for services 1/31/2017

The provider failed to tell me her name, ask if I had any questions, and it was clear she had a total of 3 minutes she was able to spend with me. I expect more from specialists, but I was sadly reminded how little patient care is at the cornerstone of specialty practice anymore. Do not go to this dermatology clinic. Find a provider who is more of a patient advocate and invested in your care. more

Not a great experience for a 1st time appt 4/27/2016

I felt like I was bothering everyone in the office from the time I entered the front door for my appt at the Kent Island office. I scheduled another appt but since then have cancelled. I don't like feeling like I am not wanted when I have to come out of pocket for coinsurance. more

Dr. Volker is wonderful/ 12/12/2014

My 7 year old daughter is a patient of Dr. Volker. He is awesome with children. He is thoughtful, thorough, and accommodating. I truly believe he cares for my daughter and her condition. I never feel rushed in his presence and or forced in making decisions. I do not like the calling policy for his office though. You call one number and they forward a "message" to his office and you wait to hear back. The receptionist in his office are pleasant. more
