Best

Mmmm, nothing like a greasy Anna's burrito to cure that hangover! With cheap eats ($3.99 for a burrito) and ample seating, one can see why why Anna's has such a cult following. Th...

Carnitas, the little donkey 6/1/2006

Hands down, the best burrito in town. I go to Anna’s about twice a week when I’m in normal stride, but I bet I’ve hit 4 or 5 at lower times in my life. I say this because Anna’s is cheap and filling. I eat there for predominantly two reasons: To provide my body with the ability to battle a night of excessive drinking, and to aid my body in recovering from that very same feat. As opposed to other burrito and taco shops, Anna’s doesn’t try to sell you on fancy “concept burritos”. Santa fe, Chicken Caesar, Teriyaki…forget all that garbage. Super Burrito! Beef, Pork, Chicken or spiced meat on a spit, rice beans, salsa, hot sauce, sour cream, guacamole, grilled vegetables. It’s all you need, and it’s delicious. AC in the summer helps too. You have to be vocal though, don’t let them leave anything out! more

Easier Option Than Beacon St. 4/22/2006

Seems kind of silly that Anna's has two locations within a mile or so of each other, but thank goodness for this Harvard Street location. The burritos are the same, delicious and cheap burritos that they serve up the road, but the lines here are a little bit shorter (note that I say a little bit shorter, but there are still lines here). The biggest plus here is that you can find a parking space (if not on Harvard then on one of the side streets). You don't have that nervousness of whether you'll luck into a spot on Beacon Street. If you're on public transport, then Beacon store is your best option (this is about half way between Beacon and Comm. Ave., so it's a little bit of a trek from either B or C lines). It's also bigger, so easier to find a table here for sure (about twice as many seats -- similar in size to Porter Square location) more

Boston's Best Burritos 3/26/2006

The lines always snake out the door at Anna's Taqueria. The burritos are awesome. The prices are just right. It's really casual dining. You order, they prepare it just like you asked and you make your way through the line. They have tacos, burritos and quesadillas and that's pretty much the entire menu. They also have chicken, steak and a few other selections to add to your burrito. I like the Harvard St. location the best. The staff is super friendly too. more

Anna's is unmatched 8/12/2005

Don't let the selection fool you. There is something that will suit just about anyone here at Anna's Tacqueria. The Harvard St. location in Brookline is by far the best of the bunch. Options on the menu are limited to tacos, burritos, mexican plates, or quesadillas. Burritos can be upgraded to super burritos where the tortilla is a whopping 12". All items are built to order, with extras including salsa, lettuce, jalapenos, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. You will be hard-pressed to find a more filling meal than at Anna's for $4. Lines move quickly, but build up in a hurry, especially during peak hours. more
