There is nowhere else that will serve up such large portions of delicious food for prices so low! I don't live in Boston anymore, so I have to eat at extremely second-rate Qdoba i...

forget about the burritos 1/10/2003

or the tacos - the quesadillas are the way to go at Anna's. Try a carnitas quesadilla with salsa and guac and some hot sauce if you can stand it. They are de-lish!!!! I had some quesadillas in San Fran recently - allegedly a US haven for mexican food and they had nothing to compare. The quesadillas at Anna's are dipped in butter/oil first and then pan fried to make them crispy and light, before being filled with awesome stuff. They're not filled with those beans and rice fillers - so eat two if you're still hungry. They beat the burritos and tacos hands down!!!! Pros: food, taste, value Cons: ambience, ambience, no liquor more

I need it every week! 12/15/2002

the absolute best! I crave the carnitas super burrito. From a former Texan I'm told Ana's is true texmex more

Anna's is close to perfect 12/11/2002

Granted, I am not Mexican so I don't know how authentic the food is, but Anna's blows other burrito joints to itty bitty pieces, then stuffs them into their super burritos. Best tasting food for under $5 in Boston. Just wish there was more seating and less of a cafetria feel. But the food covers all its faults. more

Best Place in Town 12/7/2002

Good, cheap food. Prompt service. If you just want a quick meal, you can't beat Anna's. Pros: Good food, Inexpensive, Prompt Service more

Best Mexican fast food 12/2/2002

Take it from someone who has traveled all over the US, Anna's is hands down the best Mexican fast food around. The burritos are actually light and tasty as opposed to heavy and greasy. This place is always expedious, so don't be turned off by the occasional long line. This place is worth the wait. more

Canadians love it too, EH!!! 11/30/2002

Last year, myself and a friend came to Boston to meet up with some guys we meet in Barbados. Well the first night we were there they took us to Anna'a and we fell in love with it. Now we try looking for something like it back home and there it nothing that even comes close to the great tasting food!!! We love it and we plan on making a return trip very soon. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Atmosphere more

Best value in town, BY FAR! 11/21/2002

Just the thought of going to Anna's Taqueria is enough to get me salivating. The food is hot, quick, delicious, healthy, filling, and cheap. I firmly believe that for the price you cannot fill your stomach with a more delicious meal. You can customize your burritos, quesadillas, tacos, etc and they make it right there in front of you. I suggest adding some hot sauce to spice things up. Sometimes there are long lines (around 5-6pm) but that is to be expected. There are four Anna's locations and they are convenient to local colleges. I cannot think of one thing that I don't like about Anna's. Try it and you'll be hooked. Anna's is the only taqueria in the Boston-area that really impresses me. Pros: delicious food, great value, quick service Cons: hard to find seating, sometimes long lines, not enough locations more

Im bananas over Anna's! 11/20/2002

It is the best food ever! It's fast and the people there are really nice. The atmosphere is really cool too. And its incredibly cheap. I am a college girl so I need to eat at cheap places. This one is my favorite. more

bland bland bland! 11/18/2002

i'm starting to wonder what kind of mexican food they have in california, if all californians seem to consider anna's really great and authentic. everything i've had there has been bland and dry. it's enough to make me pine for even just a sketchy corner 'taco truck'! Cons: crowded more

THE BEST 11/15/2002

The best burritos in town! Service is VERY fast, even though there are always lines during lunch hour. more

Anna's isn't worth the hype. 11/11/2002

it's not as good as you would be lead to believe. Pros: cheap Cons: dry, crowded, overrated more

best burrito outside of california 11/5/2002

i just moved to boston, and was afraid there would be no burritos to eat, thanks god for this place. its the closest thing i've found to a good bay area burrito any where in the world! i eat burritos about 5 times a week, so this means a lot Pros: fast, cheap, good size Cons: too fast more

el burrito es blando 10/30/2002

After hearing all the rave reviews of this place, I finally got to try it for myself. As a VIVA BURRITO devotee, I was interested comparing them for myself. There is no comparison. Anna's was bland and tasteless compared with the flavorful offerings from Viva Burrito. Accustomed to the leaping flames and fragrant grills of VB, I was not excited when the burrito guy scooped the steak out of the soupy, watery vat for my burrito. The steak itself was bland and almost flavorless. If you want safe, stick with Anna's. if you want food that actually tastes like something, then Viva Burrito, baby. Pros: cheap, friendly "chefs" Cons: lack of any flavor more

The 2nd Best in Boston 10/29/2002

Fast service, even when there's a line out the door. One of the best burritos you can get in boston. I come from Oakland, CA. Forget the foo-foo squash and brocoli filled crap that other places are pushing. With Anna's, try the carnitas with refried beans and you won't be dissapointed. Anna's is one of the best unpretentious burritos out there. The only downside of this place is a somewhat limited menu. more

good, cheap food 10/19/2002

This is the best inexpensive restaurant in Boston. Their food is freshly prepared to your specifications as you watch. It is located in porter square, so its easily accessed by public transportation. There is also a large free parking lot in the rear if you want to drive. They have awsome guacamole, salsa and chips. I highly recomend Anna's, but be careful, there might not be enough seating, so either be prepared to stand at a bar or to eat it elsewhere. Pros: inexpensive, good parking, convenient Cons: croweded, a bit loud more

Am I the only one in Boston 10/10/2002

...who has ever eaten a good burrito? HUGE and CHEAP. HUGE and CHEAP. Big and poor, one might better venture. It's not that it's bad...it's just that there are far, far better burritos to be had in boston: Viva Burrito, on Staniford Street, comes immediately to mind, but is more expensive; Taqueria Jalesco in Union Square is better, and possibly cheaper! Anna's is practically tasteless in comparison. Pros: Cheap Cons: Bland more

Ooooo....so good 10/3/2002

This place is so good, so cheap, and did I mention good. The people are nice. The environment is great. This is definately a good place for students on a budget to go. more

Cheap, But Cheap, Ya Know... 9/29/2002

Those boys are quick at making that food. It's tastes ok...sometimes a little too much like styrofoam. more

The Best Burritos in town 9/25/2002

Anna's is the best place around for cheap, huge awesome burritos. The guac and chips make a great side dish. Its the only place in the city (or around it for that matter) that you can get a quality, filling dinner for 2 for under $12. (that's without the Corona's from your own fridge, of course). more

penultimate grab'n'go burrito place!! 9/12/2002

though the line is long, it MOVES. know your order before you get to the counter, have money ready. Your welcome. Pros: Love the warmer!, FAST, ADDICTIVE Cons: poor seating, too small more
