Anjolique Bridal & Formal

I've been looking for someone to do my hair and makeup, as well as for my bridal party. I originally planned for my regular hairdresser to do this, but I felt uncomfortable allowing her to do my makeup for such a special day. I bought my gown at Anjolique (as well as bridesmaids, MOB, and all accessories!) and was very pleased with the quality, prices, and service. The girl who helped me throughout the process was Maria Josette. She mentioned to me that she was the store's cosmetologist and travels on-site for bridal hair and makeup! Well I've got to say, I was impressed just by looking at how well she does her own makeup, so I scheduled a demo appointment. She gave me a dramatic eye look, just as I asked, and a beautiful chignon and perfectly placed my veil. On my wedding day, she came to the hotel promptly, and did my hair and makeup, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother and my husband's mother! We were stunning!!! She is licensed, unlike many women behind makeup counters offering ""makeovers"" and has done hair and makeup on formalwear runway shows in Atlanta and Florida!! This girl is awesome!!! more

Totally disgusted. I had heard bad things beforehand, but went against my better judgement and gave it a chance, that was my first mistake. I had my heart set on a Demitrios. I heard Anjolique had them, so I went in to see which styles they had. The staff was HARDLY responsive. I was greeted by a nice brunette who was the ONLY one to show me any attention. She was young and I could tell she hadn't worked there long, so she was doing the best she could to help me find a dress to my liking. There was an older lady there who I now know is the OWNER, Maria. She was on the phone the entirety of my visit, and moved her conversation to their back room as she RIPPED someone a new one, screaming and yelling. VERY unprofessional. The poor girl that was working with me kept apologizing, I wish I had asked her name, as she is the ONLY one I have anything good to say about. To top it all off... after trying to find the size of the Demetrios I liked the most, I realized that it was NOT DEMETRIOS! All of the dresses I tried on had ""Anjolique"" tags! I don't know if they just have replicas, or if they are actually trying to sell Demetrios as their own, but I am disappointed!! All together, it was a horrible experience and I wouldn't suggest them to my worst enemy! more

Anjolique has a great variety of beautiful and very unique formal gowns. I was very impressed by the selection. more

I'm from Spain but I've been working in NC for 3 years, that's where I met my wonderful fiancee. After that time, we decided to get married. By that time, I was on a tourist visa, which means I didn't have much time to look for a gown while I was there, at least not for the one I had on mind. I started my search around NC, of course, but after 2 weeks going every bridal store I found in internet, I didn't find anything close to the gown of my dreams. So a friend of mine and I decided to go to NY... I was not lucky either. They had beautiful gowns but not the one I wanted. So, when I was about to quit and buy it in Spain, I found this store, Anjolique Bridal in Lincolnton. I drove all the way there the next day (it is 5 hours away from where I live) and I can tell it was worth the drive!!!. They had a great and unique gown selection I didn't see anywhere else and one of the things I really loved about this place was the dresses were in great condition!!!. They take good care of the gowns. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and no pressure at any time. Pros: friendly and helpful staff more

anjolique is amazing. its a very happining place...... and the dresses are in great condition! the staff is so helpful!!!!!!! they really spend time with you and make you look good then just giving you the cold shoulder. i love it there and i will go back for any other special event i have, and tell every one how amazing they are! Pros: the people*the gowns* the service*the prices Cons: very few.... wish it was closer to m....but worth the drive more

When I initially visited the shop to try on bridal gowns, the staff was very welcoming, warm and friendly. They were accommodating and helped me make a selection. They were very helpful to my mom when she came back later to select a mother-of-the-bride dress. However, during subsequent visits for fittings etc. We were literally ignored in the middle of the shop for extended periods of time while they attended to other customers, even though we had specifically made an appointment for that time. Our order was not filled in correctly, our appointments were rescheduled by the staff at the last minute (causing us to return to the shop multiple times), the staff was consistently unprepared and disorganized for said appointments, and it took us following-up with them multiple times to get our order confirmed just days before my wedding. It was almost as if customer service was only important when trying to convince us to spend money but once the sale was made, we were no longer a concern. This lack of professionalism, focus and personal service made the experience worse than shopping at a chain retailer where customers are nothing but a number and a credit card. I am all for supporting local businesses but in this case, I wish I had gone somewhere else. Pros: friendly staff, unique selection Cons: terrible customer service more

I just had to share my wonderful experience at Anjolique Bridal in Lincolnton. My daughter is getting married out of state and had already chosen her gown and bridesmaids gowns close to her home in Georgia. I still needed a Mother of the Bride dress and was having a terrible time finding what I wanted. I was not going to dress matronly as most of dresses I've seen were not fit for my own mother (bride's grandmother) even though she is almost 70 she is very young at heart and still attracitve. I tried several bridal shops around the Charlotte area but once they found I only needed the MOB dress I was given a cold shoulder. Pros: great atmosphere - great staff! more

We had a great time shopping at Anjolique. It was fun. The sales staff there made us feel really comfortable and the trying of bridal gowns was the best time ever. The selection was great--different styles, price points, etc. but the best part was the experience. We just had so much fun. The sales staff made sure we all stayed upbeat and enjoyed ourselves. The store is really pretty. Hardwood floors, big mirrors. No pressure from the staff. They brought out what we asked for and didn't show us dresses out of our price range. We bought my gown there and selected our bridesmaids the same day and my invitations, too. It was worth the drive from Charlotte. By the way, their gowns are awesome and they have a great silk collection, too that's well under 2K Pros: great selection, atmosphere, price, service. Stuff you don't see elsewhere. Cons: Wish it were closer to Charlotte, but worth the drive. more
