i have been a volunteer for AWR for many years and would have known about a dog getting run over(as the other review stated) this organization is not a kennel or shelter thus it does not house animals so how they could have had a dog get run over just doesn't make sense. maybe this person has the wrong organization. what they do is help others to place animals in new homes, and while doing that, the animals live with the people who came to AWR for assistance. They (AWR) never take possession of the animals. more

AWR Inc. is not a shelter 6/1/2010

Animal Wellness is not a shelter, they help people find homes for animals they need to part with by putting on adopt fairs at petco sandimas every other sat. they will not house animals but will help by providing you crates or dog runs for you to house a stray you found while looking for a new home for it. they also have info on neutering and shots. the address on the google map is a residence and nit Animal Wellness Rescue. it is a mistake. more

The Animal Wellness Rescue is NOT a vet. It is a not profit org. who rescues and hold adoptions for stray animals. more

bad experience 8/4/2005

i actually had a bad experience with my dog. he was ran over by a car and a bone stucked out of his skin. this experience was really dramatic and maybe thats why i try to not remember my past. anyway i took him to the vet. he was in critical condition, but the people over there couldn't do anything about it. the injury was pretty serious and i don't know what i could have done. more
