Animal Medical Center Of Redlands

We brought our new dog here after having been neutered and cherry eye surgery at the animal shelter for his day 4 follow-up. We were told we would see Dr. Burch but ended up seeing another doctor who had not read any of our dog's medical history or notes. He spent 5 minutes with us and said that the incisions looked infected and that we needed to have antibiotics. He also recommended having his sutures removed in a week (the sutures are dissolvable!) I am a PA and know when there is an infection and all I could see was bruising, but I see people not animals so I agreed to the antibiotics. I also mentioned that we were worried about his eye surgeries and he said, "Do the look as bad as they did before, then don't worry unless it looks like it did before." Very rudely like I was uneducated or stupid! Once we got up to the front to pay, we were overcharged for the visit and charged $90 for amoxicillin!! After leaving, I went to 1800petmeds and the same antibiotic was selling for $28!!!! I am giving this place 2 stars ONLY because after returning today, they refunded the antibiotics and then amount that they overcharged me. I won't be bringing our new dog here again! I don't appreciate seeing a different doctor than I was told I would see on the phone, spending 5 minutes with a doctor who cannot spend a few seconds reading a medical history, and that overcharges me by $80 in meds and a visit!! more

Dr. Burch and his staff have been taking care of our dog for 4 years and they have always given her the best of care. We never wait long for a room, the facilities are clean, the service is fast, the rates are in line with the rest of any animal hospital/clinic in town We highly recommend! more

This vet is the BEST we've ever been to. They don't treat you like a number, but rather as family. Ever time we take one of our numerous pets in, they remember us and ask how the others are doing. I don't know why the other reviewers are so bitter. You can ask anyone around that knows this vet and they will tell you his is world class wonderful. more

I've been going to Animal Medical Center for 5 years with my three dogs and two cats. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Both doctors are so great. They are caring and compassionate. They recently even lowered their prices and gave me a big discount when my dog had to had eye surgery! more

Been to two other vets in the area with my pets. I was not happy at all with them. I found this place by chance today, and I am VERY happy. The vet was super friendly and so was the entire staff. There were no surprises about cost, they let me know what it would be ahead of time. They seem to really care. My dogs weren't even scared and shaking like they normally are when we go to the vet. Highly recommended! more

It has been a great experience with this animal center. Everyone is so nice and caring. I really enjoy that they send out a card saying thanks for coming and hope that my animal is doing better. more

This office went out of their way to help me afford the medicine needed for my pet's ear infection and even gave me other contact numbers to help pay the bill. Extremely compassionate, professional, top of the line veterinarian staff and doctor. more

Dr. Burch is good. Service is EXPENSIVE. NEVER KEEP YOUR PET HERE OVERNIGHT. We kept our puppy here for the weekend. He came back with bad habits that he never had before. He now soils in his crate. This is LEARNED BEHAVIOR. This shows that he was never taken out and had to get used to sleeping in his urine. The head nurse is very secretive and refused to show us where our dog would be kept. She blames the bad habits on us. We now have to break him of the habits learned at the Animal Medical Center Of Redlands. more

Everyone from the women at the front desk to Dr Burch has been wonderful. I have been kept current on my dog's condition during her hospitalization and have been able to contact the facility at any time to check on her. That is such a wonderful service. All my questions have been answered in regards to her illness and the treatment plan. Thank you. more

I've now taken three dogs (members of my family) to the Animal Medical Center of Redlands over the past 8 or 9 years now and feel I can completely trust the well being of my animals to Dr. Burch. He is a very loving and compassionate man and I trust him with whatever he recomends for my animals. I would highly recomend the facility. I am usually very happy with the service provided. I am always pleased that there is space for my dogs when I need to board them, and they are happy to go to your facility. Your staff is exceptionally pleasant, very helpful and I can't think of a thing I would change in that area. more

Outstanding Vet and Services: Dr. Burch is wonderful and so is the entire Animal Medical Center of Redlands. Staff changes everywhere; it is just a fact of life. Some of the new people are just wonderfull. This animal hospital focuses on wellness of health and pain management for animals and does a great job. Boarding and groomnig are carefully done, and all animals have to be up to date on shots to protect all the animals. That is the sort of place I want to take care of my pets, who are like my children. When I lost one of my animals the staff was so caring and sweet, and although I cried I knew I had recieved the best treatment available. Thank you. more
