Dr. King was GREAT. She performed cataract surgery on my Beagle a number of years ago. Then my Rottie mix developed a tumor in his eye and it needed to be removed. She was wonderful and answered all my questions and reassured me that he would be okay. She also suggested that I have my local vet performed the surgery since it was pretty standard and that he would be able to be home that night and have less of a commute. She also told me that it would cost me less. WHAT?! That is unheard of from anyone! I appreciate her and her honesty! Thank you Dr. King. Chance is doing great with one eye by the way! more

Big Fan of Dr. King 4/22/2010

I'm a big fan of Dr. King!\r I'm with Southern Comfort Maltese Rescue out of Chattanooga, TN. And Dr. King has worked with several of our rescue dogs. Not only is she a first class opthamologist and surgeon, she's compassionate and is willing to work with rescue. We have been able to find wonderful homes for the dogs she has given the gift of sight. You rock, Dr. King!!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!\r Cynthia Brundage more

Dr. King is great! 5/1/2009

My 2 1/2 year old kitty has been having eye problems for the past few months and nothing was curing him. My vet referred me to Dr. King for her opinion.\r \r I am typically a little hesitant going to new Dr.'s for my pets because I am unfamiliar with their level of care. When Dr. King walked in the room, I was immediately put at ease. She was very calm and caring, and even my very nervous cat was not quite as freaked out as he usually is.\r \r Since she is a specialist, I expected the fees to be ridiculously high, and was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable they were.\r \r I definitely recommend Dr. King for your pet's eye care! more

Dr. King is the BEST!!!! 4/28/2009

I've been taking my senior kitty to Dr. King for a number of years. He's had ulcers, cataracts, glaucoma, etc. In February, he had to have his left eye removed because of mounting pressure. Since Harvey is 16 years old and diabetic, I was very nervous (more like scared and worried out of my mind) about him being given anesthesia and undergoing the surgery. Dr. King took time to explain everything to me in detail, answered all my questions, and encouraged me to also get input from my primary vet. I'm happy to report that Harvey is doing EXCEPTIONALLY well. One other thing I love about Dr. King is that she donates some of her time and services to rescue animals. She's the BEST! more
