I can’t say enough about Dr. Doherty, Dr. Bloom, Dr. Welch and their amazing team. For everything to emergency care and boarding, I know I’m getting the best.

DON'T TAKE YOUR PET THERE EVER!! 8/14/2014

They killed my cat.\r \r My cat Chaos was having problems urinating on a sunday.. I took him to I-20 Animal Hospital where I was informed that he possibly had a block in urinary tract.. It would cost $2500.00 to treat him with a 48 hour stay. Office called Tues afternoon and stated.. Chaos is doing great! urinating wonderful! no issues at all!! Chaos can go home.. It was a 10-15 min drive home. Chaos was not able to urinate and was bleeding from his private area. I called office and they stated that he was blocked again... Really again! in the 10-15 min ride home??? I returned to office with chaos 2 days straight after he was able to go home.. Still not able to urinate and still bleeding. By Thursday I was sent to a surgery center.. Now he needs to have urinary tract shorten?? Friday 8-8-2014 i held Chaos as he was put to sleep.. He was bleeding internaly and I-20 fail to mention they did 2 caths instead of only one as they told me they did.. I paid over $3000 there and another $1000 t more

Not only are they the best, but I?ve got a great deal on boarding and vaccinations for my little Yorkie. I?m very satisfied in knowing I?m getting the best for less. more

AMAZING CLINIC 6/29/2012

I-20 Animal Medical Center is amazing!! All the doctors, technicians and staff are the best. We had to take one of our dogs in for an emergency and everyone one who helped us was great with our dog and with us. They encouraged us to call when we had to leave him and always answered and updated us on how he was doing through the night (even with many calls in a very short amount of time). The next morning Dr Welch called and said that they had found something and needed to speak to us as soon as possible. She and Kymberlee told us that Mikey was not going to make it and let us have hours to say goodbye. Kymberlee checked on us and took the time to just sit with me while I waited for my husband to arrive. When the time came - Dr Welch came into his room and sat on the floor and told us exactly what was going to happen. After it was over - they let us stay until we were ready to leave. A few days after we went to talk to Kymberlee and she answered all our questions and never once more

Definitely Recommended 4/17/2012

We brought our dog in when she hurt her back jumping into a chair. Dr. Gallivan promptly found that she had ruptured a disc. She immediately found a doctor in Dallas to do her surgery on a Sunday morning. I want to thank Dr. Gallivan and let her know that Cookie is doing wonderful after her surgery. You made a very difficult time much easier for us. Thank you so much! We were visiting from Louisiana at the time of Cookie?s injury. Your clinic is a wonderful and clean facility with an exceptional staff. It is a very impressive place! more

Thank you so much to Dr. Welch and the entire hospital staff for your outstanding, professional care for Roby during his final hours. Our family was deeply saddened by his sudden and unexpected illness. The personnel at I-20 Animal Medical Center went to great measures to make him comfortable and your compassion toward our family reflects caring commitment. We can?t thank you enough. more

Boarding is awesome! 4/17/2012

We boarded our 2 beagles for a long weekend and were very happy with the accommodations. Unexpectantly, we had to stay an extra day and your staff handled the change beautifully. Being open 24 hours is a huge plus! more

It was our first time to your facility and I was IMPRESSED!!!! The staff was super kind and friendly and your facility is very clean and updated. It was comforting knowing that I can take my baby somewhere safe where she can get quality care on the weekend/ holiday. more

My veterinarian 2/23/2012

Dr. Callan helped me with one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make. My baby had been with me for over 13 years but her health had suffered lately and deep down I knew that the time had come. She helped me more than she will ever know. While I wish Gracie was still here, I know that she is in a better place. Dr. Callan was so understanding and so caring that I had to write and let everyone know how great they all are at I-20. I still have Mitsy so I will always be back to see you all. more

A great place for my dog. 1/30/2012

I have been going there for several years. Dr. Welch is amazing. She has a very calming nature, just what I needed when my Lhasa Apso was injured by a pit bull. She clearly explained everything in an understandable way. She also checked in with us (while we were there) to let us know what was going on with biscuit. Thank you very much. I have never been made to feel money was even an issue. You guys always make us feel at home and treat our pets with care and loving kindness. Keep doing what you are doing. more

They saved Trixie's life 1/26/2012

Thank you all so much for helping Trixie. She is 100% better now. If not for you and your care she would have surely died. Your facility was very nice and I was really impressed with how nice everyone was. Having you there 24/7 is really a lifesaver (I mean that literally for Trixie).
