Our beautiful and precious 8 year old bishon-poodle, Snoop, was being looked after by my husband's friend over the Thanksgiving holiday. He had just been diagnosed with diabetes and his trusted vet had ordered insulin for therapy which was to begin the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Because he was spitting up, the caretaker panicked and rushed him to the Animal Emergency and Urgent Care instead of our trusted vet or their recommendation. I did not find out until after the vet drugged Snoop without my permission. Without knowing what was wrong with him, she gave him pain meds, IV fluids, and antibiotics. Then, with all of that in his system, she gave him insulin. That would be too much for a human to handle, much less a small dog. He had a heart attack in this facility's care and died. Then, she charged me $839 for treatment I did not authorize, which resulted in Snoop's death. Please do not take your animals to this place. They killed my beloved dog.
