The Animal Emergency Medical Center is a great place to take your pet if you ever need emergency care for them. I had to take my 8week old kitten to be seen there after a family member had stepped on his hind leg accidently. The staff there was very nice and understanding. They comforted me while my ""baby"" was getting xrayed and checked out. He had broken his hind leg in 3 spots. I was crushed when the dr said he would need to be in a cast for 3 months. He could have lost his leg, if it wasn't for this great Service they provided me. He still has a limp, but at least he's walking. more

They saved my cats life! Very caring and friendly service from the vet and the techs! I can't thank them enough for saving my best friend! If you ever have an emergency with your dog or cat I would highly recommend them. more

Pet lovers beware...I recently went to the new 24 hour animal clinic in Rossmoyne because I heard there was a new animal hospital for nights and had a few bad experiences at the mechanicsburg location last year. I have a new kitten and she wasnt acting right and I just wanted to get her checked out and was happy there was another hospital. When the doctor walked in the room I was horrified, he was the same dr from mechanicsburg last year. After asking many questions and getting my kitten out of there I feel that I need to warn other owners. This is NOT a new hospital. These are the same bad drs, that changed locations and names according to their website to trick people and run away from their reputation. I contacted my regular vet the next morning and the people at the Willow Mill location are actually the new people and the ONLY ER hospital that my regular vet recommends. I am glad I recognized the vet before I left Roxy and something bad happened. I hope this website and all others move these reviews to go with the right place that is now in Rossmoyne so no one else gets tricked out of $85. At least Roxy is doing well thanks to my regular vet. Beware!! more

This place (AEMC) shares facilities with Willow Mill Vet Hospital and anytime your pet is hospitalized at Willow Mill, responsibility for its care is transferred to AEMC on weeknights and weekends. Therefore, you are double-charged for care by both places. AEMC not only overcharged me for care (only acknowledged after I complained about the high prices) but charges 2 to 3 times higher for services than Willow Mill. I paid approx $500 for 12 injections at AEMC that at Willow Mill cost me $225. AEMC does not provide a detailed list of charges (as Willow Mill does) so they can easily hide the over and high charges. It is the only emergency place in Hbg area and Willow Mill's partner in care but beware of using either place. Double-check your bills at both places (I was also over-charged at Willow Mill a couple times and charged for services I did not pre-approve). I asked for an explanation why AEMC charges are so much higher but no one there would provide a reasonable explanation so I assume that they are just taking advantage of the situation. more

WRONG DIAGNOSIS BY DR. EVEN THOUGH X RAYS. SUGGESTED GOING TO SPECIALIST AND A LOT MORE OF OTHER WORK AND OTHER TESTS.\r XRAYS HE TOOK SHOWED PETS PROBLEM TO MY VET WITHIN 5 MIN NEXT DAY. MY VET DID NOT SEE HOW IT COULD HAVE POSSIIBLY \r BE MISSED. NO COMPASSION FOR PETS OR OWNERS. WOULD REALLY HATE TO SEE HOW THEY TREAT ANIMALS WHEN OWNER IS NOT\r THERE AFTER SEEING HOW THEY TREATED MINE WHEN i WAS STANDING THERE. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR PET DO NOT\r EVER TAKE THEM THERE.
