Poor Customer Service and Greed 8/22/2010

First let me start off by saying that this animal hospital DOES NOT care about your pet?s health or comfort until they get paid. I had an emergency on a Sunday and since my Vet?s office was closed I had to search franticly to find an emergency animal hospital. This was my own fault. I should have been proactive and knew exactly where to take my pet in case of an emergency. For those of you reading this now, please do some research and find an reputable animal hospital before an emergency arises. more

Walk in fee is $100.... An eldery lady walked in with her dog that had fleas...They took her 100.00 and did NOT treat her dog because she did not have enough for flea meds ... SENIOR ABUSE...They TOOK her money and did not treat her dog!!!... more

Find somewhere else to take your beloved pet 5/21/2010

We took our 3 year old Chorkie here on a Sunday in January. They immediately charged us $100 before they would see our dog who was having difficulty breathing. They took an x-ray to discover her trachea had colapsed. Then they signed me up for a Care Credit charge card and I signed it before they could treat my dog. I don;t know how they can sleep at night knowing that I would have done anything to save my dog, who was dead in within 2 hrs. Also I asked them up front to go easy on me as I have had an emergency vet in Boca overcharge me in the past (maxed out my credit card) All they did was place her on oxygen. Total bill for one x-ray and 2 hrs of oxygen $965.00 and my dog died. Do youself a favor and find somewhere else for emergencies. Pros: Open on weekends Cons: Very, very overpriced more

Excellent place to take your pets!!!!!! 10/6/2009

Our thanks to Dr. Elpert, techs, staff and management of The Animal Emergency Clinic. Early on Sunday Oct 04 we brought in our cat Pearl, who seemed very close to death. With the correct diagnosis, wonderfull teatment, within a few hours we brought her back from the emergency. She was very alert!. We credit all of you to saving her life. Thank you all for being there and performing a wonderfull service. More hospitals should be like you!. Pros: Best veterinarians in town more

Thank You for saving my Life. My mom and 4 sisters (4legged) are very grateful. It was a hard fight but now I am 90% there. Everyone is working so hard for me. It is a lot for a 12 year old dog. So thanks for all the hard work!!! Pros: Great Doctors and Staff Cons: None more

Overpriced 4/20/2009

I had to bring my dog here and after they did a quick evaluation they gave me an estimate of what it would cost. After I asked them if there was any way we can get the bill down a bit the vet said okay well we can do without this and without that. Why did they have to add on all this extra stuff that wasn't needed to begin with?! They obviously just care about your money! They even sold me an old and used elizabethan collar which I didn't realize was dirty until I got home. I had to go back there and ask them a question about my dog and the one lady vet that was there sitting up at the front couldn't even get off her big butt to take a look at my dog. Unbelievable! Pros: Did a good job with my dog Cons: Rude and money hungry more

The Best 1/15/2008

I can't thank enough Doctor Yanguas and Doctor Goodman for the good care they gave to my dog last Sunday. I had been there before three years ago when my dog ate a frog and almost died; at that time the staff at the clinic was amazing and saved him. When my dog started seizuring last sunday for no reason I got scared but remembered how they helped us in that ocassion and went there again, and again they were amazing. He is doing well now, big praises to all there. God bless you! Pros: Good Parking, Very Nice Facility, Great Client Service Cons: no cons more
