I am really grateful to them for being there for my puppy when we needed them. I was walking my dog really early in the morning before going to work when I noticed she had a frog in her mouth. I rushed back home and washed her mouth but almost immediately I could see something was wrong. Moments later she started to foam and shake violently and my husband decided to call our doctor even though it was 6:30 am. The message on his phone said to go this emergency clinic in case of an emergency so we called and headed there. They were really helpful since the very first moment and they were ready for us when we got there. Thanks to this no time was lost and the doctor and the technician, who were very diligent and caring, were able to stabilize my dog and stop the seizures. They recommended to transfer my dog to our doctor's clinic when he opened so she could be watched and cared during the day. We did that and now she is perfectly okay, but I am convinced that had not been for the people at the emergency clinic my dog wouldn't have made it alive to our doctor's clinic by the time they opened. Nothing but great!! 5/17/2012

I can't explain what I felt when I found my puppy in the pool, took him out and he didn't move. I was hysterical. Thought he was dead. Thanks God I live close to the clinic and when my neighbord heard my screams drove me there. They had taken care of his dog in other ocassion and he said they would help me. We rushed there and it was nothing but great. They took my dog inmediately, walked me throught the situation and saved my precious puppy. I totally recommend this place. Pros: null Cons: null more

WARNING!!! DON'T EVEN THINK TO GO THERE!! 5/4/2012

Don't GO THERE If you want your PET to LIVE LONGER, make the long story short, We took our dog there last Sunday afternoon because she was vomiting. They didn't really seem to care about much other than how we were going to pay, and how much money we want to pay, once I said I wasn't going to leave the dog to do a $ 650 Blood test, they freak out and start to get RUDE, I ended paying $ 255 for a subcutaneous injection to keep my dog hydrated, and they said I'll be fine until Monday when my dog's primary doctor check her out, but unfortunately my dog died 2 hours later. Thank you for NOTHING, and for earning your money so easy, but please stop making your money screwing all pets with your careless about the animal's live, with such of poor and lack veterinary knowledge and experience. Also no other choice than give them 1 star, but realistically I'll give them a SKULL instead of the star Pros: null Cons: null more

When i took my dog there the doctor acted like she was just annoyed that we were there. She handled my dog so carelessly - like she was a piece of garbage. She told me she took xrays but when i asked for them to give to my doctor she wouldn't give me them. The assistants there wouldn't even give their real names. However i was charged 290.00 for absolutely nothing. I wasn't allowed to go in the back room with my dog. These people should not be handling animals. They have no heart - they are just in it for the money. They are RUDE RUDE RUDE. I don't even think they have a license to practice vetenary medicine. I am going to check into this and hopefully get this place closed down. Pros: null Cons: null more

NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL 8/8/2011

I took my neighbor there last Saturday because her dog was having seizures. the male doctor that was there was helpful and seemed sincere. The dog stayed overnight and the next day we picked up the dog and it was in really rough shape. The female doctor that was there was not very nice and acted annoyed because we took the pet home. Later my neighbor decided to take her dog back and put it to sleep. When my neighbor checked her bill she realized she was charged 3 exam fees! Now I know from using this clinic in the past that the exam fee was good for 24 hours in case we needed to come back. When my neighbor tried to question this the doctor said that we shouldnt have picked up the pet and that was the fee for us causing her the inconvenience of having to deal with us again! It was the coldest thing evar! I don't know how she lives with herself! more

Uncaring, expensive, outdated 8/4/2011

We took our dog there last sunday night because he was vomiting. The doctor didn't really seem to care about much other than how we were going to pay. We had been at this clinic 6 months ago when our dog cut his paw and the doctor was caring and compassionate. Things definitely have changed and not for the better. more

Saw a Dr. Furgang. She treated my cat like she was a sack of potatoes. I don't know why she works on animals she obviously doesn't care about them. more

Please be advised of fake reviews 7/25/2011

Unfortunately a disgruntled employee is making malicoius personal attacks against the Animal Emergency Clinic and myself. These reviews have been listed starting 7/25/11 under various fake screen names and information contained in the reviews is vague and not consistent with our medical records, ie patient names, dates, cases. It is unfortunate that some people choose to take out their personal affairs by abusing this forum. I have since filed a report with the Palm Beach County Sherriffs Office Computer Crimes Unit and will pursue legal action against the person making these false and defaming claims, more

Avoid Dr. Stacy Furgang 7/24/2011

Dr. Stacy Furgang saw my cat this week. The doctor was very rude to me and rough with my cat. I overheard her telling the staff that she was the top earner at her last job and was working to retire in 5 years! She definitely did not care and wanted my money. She even tried to get me to use her mobile vet practice during the day! My vet wasn't too happy about that. Watch out. I don't know what happened, this used to be a nice clinic. more

Great people 3/16/2011

Last Saturday night my two dogs were attacked by our neighbor's dog. I rushed my dogs to your emergency room and I don't have words to thank you enough for your kindness and efficiency while treating them. The staff was wonderful, very caring, very helpful. On Monday I called to request some additional information and I got it ten minutes after I called. Thanks again. Service like yours deserves to be recognized. more

well i took my cat there did not check on her intill they charged me in advance ahead and they did not do any single thing just checking her and gave her some medecine . but later it got worth and died due to their ignorance in trating animals more

Good Emergency Clinic 11/12/2010

Excellent clinic, great pet ER service. Compassionate doctors and great nurses. A doctor saw us late that night and treated our pet with diligence and a lot of care. We came back a few days later to review my dogs drains and the service was really good. I appreciate the fact that there are places like these for our pets at night. more

My dog was hit by a car last week around 8:00pm. She was crying in pain. My husband took her to Animal Emergency Clinic of Deerfield Beach where Dr. Yanguas operated on her for almost 3 hours. I thought she was going to die.!!!!. However, the kind Dr. Yanguas saved her. we are thankful to her and everyone at the clinic. You were kind and thoughtful to all of us in a very difficult moment. more

My dog was hit by a car. As soon as it happened I rushed him to the animal hospital. I spoke with a very nice lady doctor that told me that my dog was in shock and that she was going to do everything possible to save him. Later that night the lady doctor called me at home to tell me that my dog was going to be ok. Thank you for being so compassionate. more

Thank You, you saved my pet!!!!!!!!! 10/11/2010

Our cat was is bad shape. The doctor explained that he was blocked and needed emergency treatment. It was 2:00 am and I was worried. The nurse and the doctor explained the procedure and took "Pepe" with them. I went home and called every hour to check on Pepe's progress, I spoke with the doctor through the night !!!! She was great. Pepe is doing fantastic and when I took him to our regular veterinarian he said that the doctor at the emergency clinic saved Pepe's life!!!!!!!!! more
