I started taking my dog to Animal Care Hospital when I lived nearby ? I?m now living in Tempe but wouldn?t consider taking my dog anywhere else. Dr. Bishop is wonderful with animals and with people. The staff is professional and friendly. They offer grooming and boarding as well as the best animal care anywhere. more

Knowlegeable, reassuring, good experience 5/25/2007

I moved my cat out to Phoenix and he wasn't eating. Animal Care Hospital was the second vet I took him to, and I felt like Dr. Bishop was more confident and knowledgeable, like he knew what he was doing versus just going by trial and error, as it seemed with the previous vet. He also has a cat, which was a plus, having a cat person look at my poor kitty! The other vet I went to was okay, but I left Dr. Bishop actually feeling reassured by his recommendations and positive about the situation, whereas when I left the other vet, I was stressed and very upset. Pros: Dr. Bishop is very good, latest technology & medical services available Cons: Area is average, cost may be slightly higher for having access to such accurate diagnosis more

very good animal care 11/12/2005

i take my dogs to this vet and i am very happy with the excellent customer service that i get from here. they are very knowledgeable and trained to deal with animals. their prices are reasonable and the staff who work there love animals. the doctor is also very friendly and always takes time to talk to you about what is going on. i like the individual attention they give to all animals. more

love animals 11/8/2005

i have two dogs who i take here on a regular basis to have their health checked out all the time.they are very polite and friendly and have a great facility that is clean and well maintained. the doctors are very nice to the animals and they take great care of them. their prices are hard to beat and i like taking my dogs here. more

I was so Grateful for there help. 7/1/2005

My dog was shot with a bee bee gun and I didnt have much money. I called around trying to find out the best deal for a visit. Well animal care center saw us that evening and took the bee bee out, also took x rays with no charge to make sure it was all out. We also got a some antiobiotics so we wouldnt have an infection. Needless to say I was extremly gratefula s I would have been lost!! more

  • Animal Care Hospital was founded in 1964 by Dr. John Matchette. The original hospital was located on Thomas road, just a few blocks east of our present facility which was completed in the fall of 1982. Dr.Bishop joined the practice in 1973, Dr. Halver in 1981, and Dr. Temple in 20006.
