We love Angelo's - one of our favorite places to eat when in the area. Just recently ate there this week and enjoyed not only the pizza but veal, stuffed shells, lasagna, and shrimp fra diavolo - delicious! Will always go as long as they are open! Keep up the good work! more

well, mike h., Angelo's doesn't deliver, so how did you order delivery? You must have the wrong restaurant, because i agree with everyone else that loves Angelo's pizza...true NY-style and generous toppings. Other entrees are good too. more

Mmmm. Not so good. 3/2/2012

Ordered delivery... Much to comment upon. Gordon Ramsay would have a coniption fit!\r \r Spaghetti and sausage, awful.\r \r Garlic bread, soggy.. pathetic.\r \r Fettucini Alfredo... Has your chef been smoking Meth?\r \r Perhaps dining in would have resulted in better, (more professional results), Meanwhile, if you choose not to visit the local hospital, I understand the closest one is in Hudsone 10 miles away. \r \r Find another dining establishment. Horrendous.\r \r Is it that hard to find good food outside of Pinellas or Hillsborough Counties?\r \r 2 cents... \r \r This restaraunt came with good recomendations... Is there something in the water in this area, that negates the human palate?\r \r Anonymous (but insightful) more

This place is AWESOME!! 10/14/2010

I agree with RedBlur, this pizza rocks. I'm a Jersey girl and its hard to find good pizza in FL. Country Pizza Inn has ""greek style"" pizza if that's what you like but it's not NY style. Angelo's food is incredibly fresh, service is great and ambiance terrific. I live in Palm Harbor and go to this place (or Corteo's) for NY style deeelish (foldable) slices. (You NJ and NY people know what I'm talkin' about). Try this place, you won't be dissapointed!!!\r Manga!!! more

Great food!! 1/24/2010

I'm not sure what the last person who wrote a review was talking about. Because this is the best pizza in town and I'm not just saying that. Everyone in our neighborhood loves the place and it is by far the best pizza I've had since coming down from NY. Really nice people also! Pros: Pizza and Veal Parmesan Cons: Nothing we had more

ok but nothing to brag about 3/2/2009

Their pizza was eatable but nothing to write home about, once was enough for us. We ""always"" get pizza from ""The Country Pizza Inn"" in New Port Richey. Absolutely delicious pizza with a unique crust, reasonable prices for the quality and a nice clean dinning area. If you like the combo of baby spinach, feta and tomatoes try (the owners concoction) ""Arthur's Pizza"" It's our favorite. ""Queen's Pizza"" in Tarpon Springs also has very good pizza, my husband loved the chicken wings. ""Fairway Pizza Too"" is the place to get real good pizza @ a good price, I tried a chicken fettuccini dish that was ok but the chicken in it was cold! Pros: Within walking distance to my vacation rental Cons: Didn't care for their sauce more

great pizza, low prices, nice people 6/16/2008

my wife and i love going to this place. the prices have goneup but the quality is outstanding. some of the specials are good to. but I like the pizza the most. i wish they deliverd. Pros: Great food Cons: prices could be better more

Fantastic Food 9/25/2007

We have been eating at Angelo's at least twice a month for the last 7 years, since we moved to Holiday. Pretty much since day 1 I've always ordered the chicken Fanchese- it's fabulous--and huge, though I do love their pizza and strombolis too (get the side of meat sauce for your strombo!!). For whatever reaason, the house salad is not fancy, but done with the simple house dressing, it is bread dipping-ly fantastic! The staff, over the years, has had very little change; which tells me that it must be a good place to work too... how often do you see the same server more than once these days?!?\r We bring all our family and friends here and have never been disappointed. more

I go out of my way to hit this place... 11/8/2005

Used to be my visits to the Tampa area included several trips to W Pasco. Not so much nowadays, but I still make at least one special trip each time to go to Angelo. When I lived down there it was one of my favorite pizzas in the entire Bay area. All other menu items are quite good too. Share an antipasto, get a pizza - a nice meal for two. Pasta and other items are great with large portions - perfect for tomorrow's lunch. Nothing fancy, and it's in a strip center, but a good solid choice for Italian. Besides, you can't eat ambience. Pros: Quality, Portions, Value Cons: Small, Sometimes noisy more

Great Cuisine 4/8/2004

the linguine with mussels and lasagna are two of my favorites! the pizza is also excellent. I always dine there at least once when I'm in the Holiday, FL. area. Buon Appetito! Pros: good parking, inexpensive, great service more

mmm, mmm, good!!! 12/29/2002

Where do I begin?...The mussels appetizer is to die for!...We ordered them in the white wine sauce...oh, so good. As an entree, order the veal with the artichokes and ham. Absolutely exquisite! Those are my favorites, of course, but everything we've tried there is excellent. The service has always been exceptional...very friendly people. Large portions...if you are small eaters, one entree is enough for two. If you can agree on one thing. Thank goodness this place is five minutes from my house. I hear the pizzas are great there too, but we haven't made it to the pizza menu yet! Go there, relax and enjoy! more
