great place!! 8/5/2009

angelo & sons is the place to go for fresh bread everyday. on my way home from work i cant help but smell the bread and have to go in and get some for dinner. the service is also great, people are friendly. Pros: the best bread in astoria! great pastries, and sandwiches Cons: nothing excpet for the parking more

Disgusting & Dysfunctional people 7/25/2009

This deserves zero stars, though I don't have a choice........... So, well, I ordered an Iced Cauupccino, the owner serves me asks for 5 bucks I give it to him, then he asked again for 5 bucks, I said I already gave it to him, and he says if I don't give it he won't serve me. What nuts. Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

Superior neighborhood bakery 1/25/2009

Angelo's boasts great values (i.e. $6.75 for HUGE delicious sandwiches) and personality. The counter staff are friendly and helpful. The pastry offerings include the best of all things NY: black and white cookies, Italian butter cookies, etc. A personal favorite: the cannoli cookie - cannoli filling on a shortbread cookie. Great people, great place. more
