Excellent emergency services 2/14/2014

I brought my cat in at 6am on New Year's Day. He had had a bad reaction to a rabies vaccine and wasn't moving. The check in at Angell was quick and easy and we got in to see a vet right away. If you need emergency treatment for your pet, I would recommend Angell. more

Appointment for my sick bird 2/2/2014

I was Very pleased with the service, the doctor , Noonan, was very good and gave me very good instructions how to treat my sick bird along with the medication that was available to pick up from the pharmacy more

Roxie's great experience 1/30/2014

Great service! I was emailed when the surgery started & 1/2 way through and at the end to say the doctor would be calling. Then the doctor called after surgery and when Roxie was ready to go home. He went over all the instructions. I was asked to call the next week. The doctor called me before this. You can tell the doctors care and know their patients. more

Finneus ER Visit 1/28/2014

The staff at Angell Memorial were very competent and caring. The ER physician was very thorough and explained all options (along with cost) regarding the available testing and treatments for our dog. more

cat emergency visit 1/26/2014

We arrived the day before Christmas eve because our cat has suspected urinary issues. Although we waited a decent amount of time, the doctor spent time with us to fully assess our cat and answer all of our questions. He didnt suggest we do any procedures or tests that didn't seem necessary but rather map out a plan of action to avoid ordering unnecessary tests. The best part about this experienceis the follow up with the doctor . He has answered numerous queations via email in a timely manner. more

Terrible Experience 1/22/2014

In an emergency situation I brought my dog in a panic - he was acting spicy and responsive - in a rush to get him there I had only brought my Amex card and was told they do not accept Amex and that I either 1) could be billed for the emergency visit but if anything happened while he was in their care they would not do anything for him or 2) I could take him back home and get another form if payment and bring him back. Instead I took my dog to VCA emergency who not only accept Amex but did not need me to make an possible choice under trying situations. Avoid them unless you know the payment rules up front and do not expect there to be any empathy if not. more

this was my first time at Angell after many years of taking my cat to a small clinic which I loved but moved away from. everyone was very kind and I felt my cat was getting great care but it did feel somewhat impersonal just because of the size. more

I was very pleased with the care and assessment my dig received for his eyes. The doctor explained everything in easy to understand language; he didn't try to sound scholarly. I am going back for a follow up. more

Care coordinator 1/11/2014

The position of care coordinator is brilliant.we worked with Jen haas,she was amazing.are they all amazing.she walked me thru everything step by step.she updated me with texts for 48 straight hours.after her shift she texted me from home to check in and make sure we got our dog scout home ok.scout had a TPLO.her help was the cherry on top.she relieved me of so much stress and worry.amazing.dr.trout was amazing for reasons we all know already.he is calm, thorough and compassionate.he is clear and organized with his thoughts and direction.he was amazing too,of course.i am so impressed with the care at angel.thank you for holding our hand and paw through this surgery.phew. more
