We just read in on Az biz that Angelinas won the best pizza in Arizona at the world pizza contest. So we went. We agree it is definitely the best pizza we have had. We went in, pizza came out about 20 minutes later. It was great. The beers came out fast. I dont know what else to ask for. We will be back regularly. I know the last reviewer Gramsey He is Gordon Ramsey, the celebrity chef. The point is. THere are a couple of people dogging Angelinas because they are jealous or whatever their reason is. There are hundreds and maybe thousands of us around the area who LOVE this restaurant. I came on here to write a revieew and hear this about one of their bartenders? Anyone who goes to this restaurant immediatey knows the review is fake trust me. Honestly? There is no good or bad reviews worth looking at online. They are manipulated by competitors, ex employees and even the managers, employees and more. The best thing to do at ANY restaurasnt is try it yourself. Dont listen to the foolish who dog a restaurant because they are jealous or desperate. Try it yourself. Pros: Great food. Great Service. Best in the area BY FAR Cons: Too small of a space. My second visit was very disappointing on a Monday night starting with the bartender. We were visiting from out of town and had a great meal there on Saturday night ,so went back on Monday. He acted mad at us when we asked to see a Martini menu, then ignored us,never asking if we wanted another drink. Our waitress never brought the wine we orderd, or the bread. We had to wait 40 minutes before she returned to our table! It was not busy that night. We questioned her as whether she had done this before, and the next thing the same bartender/ ?manager shows up at our table asking us not to talk to ""his"" wait staff. He comped our whole meal which was nothing like our Saturday night meal! Maybe on Monday night , the real boss is not there! Since when do you get cheese whiz on a Philly steak sandwich?? I have to admit, my grandfather wrote the last review because they didnt have Coke and they didnt have a 4$ special. I dont agree that he should have bashed the restaurant. I have dinned at Angelina's probably 15 times and each was an adventure in great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. If there is one thing you can absolutely count on at Angelina's, it's that you won't be disappointed when you go there. It's such a treat to be able to pick a new dish from the ever evolving menu and know that you will be pleasantly surprised at the twists on tradition the chef has created for the meal. If its an evening out with friends for drinks, a quiet business lunch or a romantic meal your looking for, Angelina's is the place to go. I went to Angelina's last Saturday to see the comedy show I had so much fun. It is nice to have the option to do something different and this was it. The food was great and the show was hilarious. The seating is a little tight in some places, but again that adds to the feel. I have been to comedy clubs in New York City and the seating is much tighter there. All around the set-up is pretty good. I think they need better lighting on the comedian. But wow, right here close to home? We used to venture to Laffs once or twice a year. Mainly because it is so far. So here we go, the same comics a few miles from hom. If you want to do something new and have a blast I suggest going to Angelina's, but be willing to go with the flow and have a great time laughing like crazy. Cant wait for the next show. My fiance and I went here for a fun night out last Saturday, and we couldn?t have picked a better spot. Between the DJ setting a great mood and the delicious food we had a great time. With fast service and good prices, I know we?ll be going back, and I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a great night out. I only wish there were a few more people dancing. Who ever wrote a bad review about this restaurant must be 80 years old and blind. Either that or just has a personal issue with the restaurant. This restaurant was fantastic all three times that me and my friends attended. The food was great and the service was even better. Our waiter Badr was terrific!!! He knew the menu front to back and had some great recommendations. I definitely think you should try the sea bass, it was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the bar was a little to busy for me to sit down but luckily the server was fast to bring my martini out. And the icing on the cake; the belly dancer was very hot...Whoa! We didnt expect to be able to stay afterwards and dance to a live DJ. Unheard of in Oro Valley. But a welcome addition. The place was super packed. I dont know how it is during the week, we have only been on wednesday for ladies night and the weekends for the live entertainment. We love this place! My husband and I found this place shortly after moving to Tucsono. By now, we have had probaby half of everything on the menu and it is all excellent! The restaurant has such a nice atmosphere and great friendly service. Overall, just a nice, chill place to get some great food and good wine.The lighting and cool paintings also make the ambiance really laidback and nice. I love taking my friends to Angelinas The atmoshpere is great and I love the way that the restaurant feel.. The martinis are creative and delicious. The best tapas i have had.. The waitress said it best, this place is the Diamond in the Rough. I would have never imagined such a cool atmosphere in Oro Valley of all places. I mean eclectic but warm and cozy and sort of European and classy. Who knew that if you go out on week days you get some slamming deals. All their martinis were 5 dollars and awsome. The waitress we had recommended the S*x i the city (how an you forget a name like that) and gosh I think it was the Louis Vitton. They were delectible, I think I am addicted. We also had some of blueberry creme brulee....yummmmm. To die for. My girlfriends and I are planning to make this our girls night out hangout. I go out often but the stafff, the food and those drinks make this place my new favorite. I had to share my great experince with the rest of the Tucson foodies out there. I ate at Angelinas today. Wow! Simply thee best pizza I have ever eaten. Perfection. Each ingredient spoke for itself and formed a perfect combination. The smoked salmon salad was also amazing. The staff was very accomodating, friendly and professional. Our service was prompt, I will be a frequent, repeat patron. Amazing!!! Pros: Huge Selection. We had a wonderful time Saturday evening. I have to say both my wife and I agree this is the best food in Tucson at reasonable prices. It was pretty crowded so i would recommend reservations if you are going on the weekend. The band was Excellent! We were dancing all night. Pros: Food, outdoor patio, HUGE Television screen!
