Great food 11/15/2011

I love Andria's Seafood. Their crab cake sandwiches are the best but must always be started off with a bowl of clam chowder. I travel a lot and can attest to the quality of their food. more

Best Seafood In Ventura County 5/12/2011

I've been going to Andria's for over 10 years. We love the food and the view, and we always walk along the harbor after we finish. The fish & chips are great and the seafood salad is great. Always a treat. more

Grossly overrated 3/18/2011

We went on the recommendation of a friend, who really enjoyed the fish & chips. Instead we got the fried scallops & chips (the scallops were fine, the fries mediocre), 2 Buoys (Andria's Clam Chowder in large sourdough bowl), and char-broiled halibut that came with a green salad, rice and bread. more

Good spot to relax on the w/e's 5/20/2010

The fried fish and chips are what I go for except all the food is really good. Just a basic shrimp cocktail will do you right. The fried aspect is not the best for you but heck you only live once right! If you do go the fish and chips route it will taste wonderful, just not the best for you. Great clam chowder - not too far to drive! 1/7/2009

Andrias has very tasty clam chowder. Luckily we live within an hour, so we can take a nice leisurely drive out to enjoy some tasty clam chowder. Highly recommend! more

#1 Fish & Chips in So Cal 12/8/2008

This is what we found after a comprehensive sampling of F&C joints from Oceanside to San Fran.The clam chowder is deserveadly famous but leaves less room for fish .Not good as portions are HUGE.Don't miss the attached fish market.Fresh-off-the-dock fish shark shrimp etc.to take home &grill for act2.(p.s.don't forget the garlic juice spray-good stuff) Pros: the best fish & chips in Cali Cons: can't get past the F&C to try the rest of the menu(looks good) more

Some friends of ours took us to Andria's when we were in town and we loved it. The fish and chips are great and so was the clam chowder. The shrimp was also great we couldn't decide what we liked best. more

fresh and simple seafood 8/23/2008

Andria's is a super casual (line up to order and pick up food) restaurant right on the waterfront.. The word for their food is FRESH! If you like simple, fresh seafood, this is a good bet.. Make an afternoon of it, rent a paddle boat, window shop and top if off with a meal at Andria's. That's a nice Ventura experience. more

I LOVE ANDRIA'S 8/14/2008

I love this place! This is the best fish and chips in the area! You can get their plain fish and chips (Which I believe is Shark) or pay a little more for Halibut and chips! Their sauces are great also!! There is enough to share or bring home re-heats!! My husband and his friends also love the clam chowder!! I would highly recommend this place, it makes me hungry thinking about it!! more

I love Andria's. We always order halibut and chips and it's enough for at least two, maybe three people. It's pricey, but really good. The best in town. It's at the Harbor, so it's convenient after a day at the beach or harbor. The halibut is a must try! more

Ventura is a sleepy little town in-between Malibu & Santa Monica where you can get a decent seafood dinner while looking at the ocean without having to spend a fortune... though this is not the place as it's more of a takeout place.\r We love to drive up here with out of state friends & relatives, so they get a chance to dine while looking at the Pacific Ocean.\r \r If you want a quick meal with a view but no ambiance, the chowder is very good, the fish & chips are good, but you may have to wait in line.\r \r There are other seafood restaurants with better ambiance along Spinnaker Drive. more

BEST FISH AND CHIPS!!! 7/26/2007

Andria's is hands down the best place to go for fish and chips. The food is always great! You may have to stand in a long line before you can place your order but that is because this place is so good. Every time my family goes to ventura we must stop and have a meal here. All the food is good but my favorite is the clam chowder! Price and reasonable but I think it is worth is to pay a little more for better quality. more

Seafood Restuarant 8/11/2005

This place has very good seafood. Their fish and chips are wonderful and so is the clam chowder in a buoy. You have the choice of sitting outside looking at Ventura Harbor or sitting inside. After lunch or dinner you can take a stroll along the harbor. It is very pretty there. PROS: Outside dining available. CONS: Can get very busy on the weekends. more
