The authentic Mexican food is very high quality - this is not your average Mexican restaurant. The service is excellent, and the owner is usually around to say hello. You can get fajitas and fantastic tamales, but try some of the other dishes, like Javier's Special #1 - large pieces of carne asada in a tortilla with fried cheese and topped with guacamole, That is one of my favorites. I like the food so much, I eat there almost every week!
Pros: Near the freeway, good parking, great food and service.
Cons: The restaurant is too far from house!
