Anderson Photography was wonderful to work with. We looked at a five photographers and we loved their photos and personality. Judy is not like other photographers who may try to convince to to pick certain packages or talk poorly of other photographers like some I have met. She was very professional and easy going. more

For those who wanted to know, Mauritzio from Tricho @ 12 oaks is now @ Scappare Salon & Spa in South Lyon. I recently went there for my color and haircut and fell in love with the place and the atmosphere. He fits perfectly in this salon. more

I will never go back to Tricho again. For the price they are charging, I would expect at least an above average wax; however, I got a very below average service. My appointment was with Amber, who was a very nice lady, but either didn't have a clue as to what she was doing or didn't feel it necessary to spend the time on my service - the latter is what i expected, as it was done in about 15 minutes. She pulled the waxing strips the wrong way (against the direction of hair growth), and thorough it was not - she neglected to check over the areas to make sure she had not left any stray hairs behind, and didn't bother to tweeze any stray hairs like other estheticians have in the past. As a result, I not only had stray hairs here and there, I had whole areas where hair wasn't removed, and wax that had not been removed as well. To top it off, I have ingrown hairs from where she pulled the strips off incorrectly!\r \r And all this for $65. At this price, I expected at least an above average service. I will NEVER go back to Tricho, for anything. I haven't used their other services but if these are the results of one of their more intimate services, I can't imagine the carelessness in whatever else they offer. I've been going to Catherine for waxing (bikini, specifically) for close to a year now and love her. She always does a great job, is friendly, and gets the job done as quickly and painlessly as possible. I've recommended other friends to her, and they've loved her as well. Glad I found her and this beautiful salon! I also went in for a manicure once, and had a great experience.\r \r On another note, I went to a stylist for a haircut blindly since I trusted the salon, and ended up having a horrible haircut- it looked like a slightly modified mullet. I have to tell you that this salon has something for everyone. I love my stylist and my daughter loves hers. I followed my stylist there from another salon and found a great stylist there for my daughter. She always swore we would never go to the same salon. Now she swears we will never go anywhere else. We are very often complimented and asked who does our hair. I have to say that the people here are great, always friendly and very personable. It is like I am going to visit friends when I go there. This is an upscale salon, they do a lot of different services. So moms call Michelle and send your daughters to see Niki! You will not be disappointed. I went to the tricho's salon & spa at Twelve Oaks mall in novi, michigan and it was my frist time there, and i got my eyebrows wonderfully done. I would recommend Tricho's to anyone. more

Made an appointment for color & cut, I had never been there before & it was a new salon. Was greeted by a girl who was younger than me (i was 21 at the time) who was to do my color. I am naturally a medium brown brunette but went through alot of time and money to become a very light blonde. I needed to get my roots colored, my normal colorist was out of town, and I needed an appontment ASAP. Well long story short, she did a TERRIBLE color job on my hair, it turned out super banana peel yellow and it took FOREVER for her to do it. Also gave me a less than average cut. All I wanted was long layers and she didnt seem to know how to do it. I had to make another appointment for the next day to go back and have her try and fix the mess she made on my hair. I spent a good 3+ hours at that salon, about 2 1/2 of which were me leaning back in a chair with my head stuck in a sink. Seriously, my neck was kiiiiilling me. She kept poking around my hair putting different toners in it and letting them sit for ever. She said she was worried that if she did much more, my hair would fall out (?!!!?!?!?). After all that, I left the salon with the exact banana yellow hair. I ended up going back to my normal colorist and had to spend alot of money for a color correction. I spoke to someone who used to work there (they had quit) and said that everyone there was just out of beauty school and has NO expirience. What a mess!!! Pros: Trendy looking on the inside.
