well im sad that its gone but i was there on one of their last days. they explained how they wanted a new and fresh start. i can see why...although theyve been there for years im sure busness wasnt the same as when they began. yes the decore was quite different but they're food was to die for! i loved it! they had the fresh springrolls and the beef noodle soup, or the beef and broccoli! yummm absolutely delicious with their rice! the cooks were excellent and their family is adorable as well. yes sometimes the service was bad but when i was there i say that the kids...well waiters and waitressess were busy studying away, so i know they were busy and i just let them be. cuz school does come first. understand that this family has gone through alot escpecially with their kids along their side, studying for a brighter future...well im sad their gone but hopefully they will open a new one and when they do i will be ready to come...hungry for more. now i think its some type of morrocan food there! idk i heard it wasnt too good. well there is my opinion! i <3 their food!!! Does anyone know why the restaurant shut down, and where did they go???????? I'm so upset after I knew they shut down the place :( I miss their seafood noodle soup so much. Imagine finding a gem in an empty lot. That's what you'll find in a tucked-away non-descript track mall near the corners of Howe & Arden. Henry's is a small, family owned restaurant that may not be much to look at, but the food is absolutely mouth watering delicious! Always made to order, the menu, while somewhat English challenged (entertaining at least) offers literally thousands of choices. If you like Asian food this is a new place to try! I'm vegetarian but meat eaters will find lots to choose from, as well. I highly recommend the sweet and sour soup, fresh vegetarian rolls and the house special vegetarian spicy silky noodle. They have delicious hand squeezed juices and lemonaides and the prices are extremely reasonable. I've been dining here for almost a decade - and its been fun watching the family grow up (with the kids doing their homework in a corner of the restaurant. Again, the interior isn't much to look at but the owner Henry and his sons and daughters are enthusiastic, fun and make some great food! Give it a try! Good Thai iced tea. Don't expect to get exactly what you order. The menu said my dish was to come with fresh spring vegetables but when it arrived there were none to be found. It was explained to me that because I ordered the fried rice rather than the noodles the vegetables were thought to be ""un-necessary"" what ever that means. The rice paper rolls were disappointing.
