I have my fence installed by them. The installation crew was very professional and cleaned my yard when my fence was up. I was worried about having to pull a permit from the city, but they took care of that. I work all the time and I don't have time to go to down to the city pay for the permit and pick it up later so this was good for me. more

These guys turned what was said to be a two day job into a 21 day job. The first day, they just simply failed to show. The next day, I had to call to confirm their arrival. Finally, at 11:30am, two guys arrived. Worked at a snail's pace for an hour, took a lunch and left at 4:30. The next crew, were much more professional and, to be fair, were polite, diligent and hard working. They ran short of materials and that prolonged the job, as they did not order properly. They put materials on my lawn, killing it. They even used my tools for part of the job. \r They blamed me for the delay as there was more concrete in some of the holes then expected. I was up front with them in that there had been a previous fence in place. They did not account for this and clearly, do not estimate properly. I'll concede a few days, but 21 days? At the end of the job, they did very little to make it right. One delay after another. Hard to see how they've been around with this long. more

After waiting several weeks for an appointment, Jeff came out to my house to quote a fence on May 10, 2013. I currently have a wooden, French Gothic style fence and we discussed the likelihood of not finding an exact replacement in vinyl. Jeff said if he couldn’t find the French Gothic in vinyl, he would look into a vinyl product that could be custom cut as well as locating possible alternatives and that he would get back to me with a quote. \r I called May 17, 2013. Jeff was supposed to call back. He never did. I called May 23, 2013, and left a voice message. Jasmine called me back May 24, 2013. She relayed a message stating the French Gothic I was looking for wasn’t available. Well…we knew that would most likely be the case when Jeff came out to discuss a quote. What happened to Jeff looking into having the tips custom cut – he was the one that brought that up. What happened to Anchor Fence offering and quoting the closest product they had to my current fence specs?\r I told Jasmine that Jeff and I had discussed that it most likely wasn’t available and he was going to look into alternatives. She asked if I wanted Jeff to call me and I indicated “Yes”. He still has not called me back. \r I called again May 28, 2013, spoke with Angela and asked if they could send someone else out to help quote alternatives to my current fence and was told she would have someone call me back.\r I still have not heard anything from Anchor Fence since then.\r Their website states, “You will definitely be able to find exactly what you are looking for when it comes to your new fence and/or railing with our fence company in Redford, Michigan” and “There is no job too large or too small that we cannot handle” - they fell short of these statements in my opinion. \r more

I was told by a family memeber of the man that works there that he is a thief, stole money from his sister yet! Doesn't sound like a place I want to do business with! more

I tried to call 2 other fence companies to simply receive an estimate, to no avail, but when I called Anchor Fence the service was quick an easy. I called they answered and I had my appointment. At this point I knew that they would be the company to go with and I was right. Jeff, my estimator gave me options on what materials I could use to fence in my yard and after some deliberation I chose tan vinyl. It was up in about 2 weeks and they pulled the city permit for me as well. The service here was EXCELLENT, I would definitely recommend this business. more

I had estimates from 2 other fence companies, but this company was the most wallet friendly and offered the same amount of product and same quality. They were also quick to put my fence up. If you are looking for more bang for your buck I would definitely recommend this place. more

I needed a vinyl gate for my driveway so I called them. Had my estimate done and the gate up within a week. It's beautiful and makes a huge difference in the look of my front yard. more

Had to get a fence to block my pool because I heard its illegal not to I didnt want to but I also do not want to get in trouble. Even though I didnt want to pay for this fence because I have a tight budget right now Im glad I did because it looks good and the cost was not as bad like I was thinking. more

had a fence put up in summer. i was amazed at the service received from this company. they pulled all the permits for me and called for yard inspection. took about 3 weeks from the day i put my deposit in for a vinyl fence. i called them because i had some big dirt clumps on my fence after it got put in and they came by and cleaned it for me also, that was nice, they didn't have to. more

Before I came to this company I had a rusty metal fence. They came for an estimate and it was cheap to have it taken down. I put half down on a PVC fence in late April, they had told me about 3-5 weeks. I expected the worse, 5 weeks, however they had my fence up in Mid-May, which was a pleasant surprise. The fence they put up was stable and beautiful. I am happy with my purchase, especially the huge upgrade to rusted metal. more

I already put reviews in two other review sites, but it's not enough. It all started when I agreed to a setup/price structure with them. My wife went in to place a deposit and was told to pay more than we were supposed to. I called to follow up that the right order was taken care of and make sure we we're still on schedule the next day. I was told that it was a mistake and that they had the right plan and they would get it done it two weeks. I also asked that they obtain a mortgage survey as I could not find mine (just bought this house). Two weeks went by and no fence. I called and was told that they were waiting on our mortgage survey. I reiterated my request for them to get it not once more, not twice, but three times before someone said they had taken care of it (and that was when I went in person). I only have 1 day each week that I'm not working when they are open so I had to call a lot. When I went in they said that they had the mortgage survey, but were missing a part and were waiting for it to come in. It was ordered and would be there in two weeks and it would be installed the next day. This was a message I received every two weeks for 2 months! Finally when they came to place the stakes (again after I went in) they didn't have the mortgage survey (and probably never did). By the way, they came out after I went in which was 3 days after the last promised date. Also, they never called me once. I had to follow up each time after giving them ample time to make the first call. After the fence was installed I went to pay the balance and was told they added a change of plan charge ($300) when it was them that made the error originally. They did take that off, but it was like pulling teeth just to make sure I didn't get screwed. I had to fix my sprinkler system and pay for my neighbors sprinkler system as well. Please only put 10% down so you don't get stuck like I did. more

I had been searching for a certain style and gate that every other fence company I visited said it could not be done. Even got burned by a company that promised they would put it ""upright"" said that's not what I paid for and just gave me the run around. But when I went to Anchor Fence I spoke with there manager for about 10 minutes explained exactly what I wanted then they walked me to there design machine that creates the styles had it designed in a about 2 minutes witch was surprising to me how advanced and technical there machining was. Then showed me how there gates are made stronger than everything else that's out there. So we talked price and how long it would take, I was completely satisfied not only did I get exactly what I wanted but the price was a lot less expensive then that other company and they were much more friendly and professional had my job completed in about a week from the day I signed. I would recommend Anchor Fence to everyone they are much more advanced and knowledgeable than everyone else I received an estimate from. Pros: just the design help alone I received on vinyl was terrific Cons: I didn't call them first more
