I live in a studio apartment with a particularly furry Maine Coon babyface. He sheds constantly, esp. in the summer time, and end up eating cat hair all through the night as I sleep. I did a LOT of research online to find a comfortable, affordable place to get kitty shaved, but I could not find one where my baby wouldnt be subjected to horrible, salivating loud dogs and a constant flux of different people. I did not want said kittz to be traumitised, so I took my chances on calling Shirin. She has a website, just google ""Shirin cats meow encino"" and you will find her. Anyway, she will come to your house, shave, cut, clip, whatever you need; she will take her time and let kitty walk about in between shave. Very caring; tres unconventional. It cost me $85 for a lion cut, with a nail trimming and gas for her to come in from Encino / I live on the WESTSIDE... Good Luck
Pros: Comes to your house, all inclusive one price
Cons: Expensive but comparable..
