Sooo good. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Vietnamese, and this is it. Fresh and delicious. My only request is that they add bird's nest rolls with fresh herbs to the menu : )

Delicious food at the right price, Im a fan! 11/11/2010

I have not really eaten much Vietnamese food in my life, but I am now going to start eating more. The food was awesome and not expensive at all. This place has a really nice decor and I will for sure return and look forward to hanging out at the cool bar or patio. more

Great Find! 11/11/2010

I was hungry and in a hurry walking through williamsburg yesterday when I passed this little Vietnamese take away sandwich spot and decided it would be the ideal quick spot I was in need of. I ordered the ""classic"" and it was excellent! Turns out this is the to go version of the full restaurant of the same name next door. I would totally eat here again and look forward to sitting down and enjoying a full coarse meal at the restaurant. Highly recommended! more

best Vietnamese I've had in NYC 6/6/2010

This is the best Vietnamese food I have had in New York. I live and work in Manhattan and went to an event in the neighborhood and ended up at An Nhau by chance. The food was wonderful and the back area was absolutely charming. The pork spring rolls were fantastic and I had the shrimp vermincelli which was also delicious. My husband had the sliced pork belly which he loved. We will definitely hop the train and head there to eat again. Pros: great food and decor more

I was incredibly disappointed in our meal from An Nhau, especially because we usually love it. They've raised their prices and lowered their quality apparently. The Pho we had had minimal ingredients (usually it is chock full of them) and barely any meat at all. As for the Bo Luc Lac, the menu says "Seared and seasoned steak cubes. Served with tomato, cucumber, mixed salad and rice." We were given some steak with LITERALLY 2 skinny slices of cucumber, no salad or tomatoes and a seriously small portion of rice for a $16 item. I am also displeased because i know the owner Thomas, and i know that he is a good business man. I am hoping this was a "once in a blue moon" kind of a thing, but I am not really sure when the next time i will be ordering from them now... more
