Since when is custard pie (all pies) ""not"" required to be refrigerated due to the eggs & milk it contains??? The owner, tall ugly ugly old nasty dude who believes he's being challenged by little lady customers, insists that every pie he sells (by the way-pies are made elsewhere not at amys) is not to be refrigerated due to ""natural ingrediants & no preservatives"". No Mr. IDIOT Ii grew up in a restaurant when eggs & milk ""natural ingrediants & no preservatives"" were always refrigerated to prevent spoilage. \r \r All because I asked for a refund of $8.60 & only a few days passed till I cut the rubbery pie the night before. He was such a jerk about it w/an ugly attitude & decided to lecture how he been in his business for 40 years etc. I finally stood my ground & stated it was all about customer service, but he wanted to continue w/his rude challenging & tell me that he would give a slice to the customers that were on the other side of the room as he was cutting pieces franctically from the pie i returned & shoving a piece in his ugly mouth. \r \r Although hurtful & embarrassing at that moment, I was the better person who decided that he could have his pie as I said ""I'm not going to argue w/you"" & walked out of the bakery. As for their cakes-all of them are dry/pricey & lacks flavor too....better places out there as we all know...that place has always been a show place. \r \r And that owner...he's a prick & he knows it!!!\r \r CCF\r Teacher K-12\r \r more

A grate place to get 5 stare pastries and not pay for 5 stare price. People are friendly and the customer service is grate best I’ve had in CA. love it more

I love Amy's, I drive from Long Beach to Montebello every other week. They have the best Creme Brulee and their Amy's Delight cake is to die for. I have introduced many friends to Amy's and they love it. The atmosphere is clean and friendly; the staff is ready to help you and very professional. I've been a big fan of this place since I was a kid and my parents would take me there, It was so huge and lovely. I recently moved back and It's still the same amazing product but a whole lot hipper. It's bustling as it always has been with all the locals getting their morning fix at the new coffee bar and gym goers and families coming for some of their home-made delectable treats and to hang out. My favorite is their bread pudding, you must try this. I could eat a whole tray! I just got a cheesecake for my friends' birthday and everyone thought I was a hero, you can definately taste the love. The owner Jeff hangs out with all the customers and cops getting their morning donuts and coffee with his true caring and fun personality, he steals the scene. They don't have plces like this anymore...It's a nostalgic sense that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. The coffee kicks butt too, yummy. Pros: Bread pudding, great coffee, amazing cheescakes more

This bakery used to be appealing but a recent visit changed my mind. Both the cakes and service were stale! When cakes cost $18--24 you expect them to be fresh and not just ""look good."" I dont mind paying the high price but c'mon hold up you end of the bargain, provide a fresh and tasty product! Also, get some service training for the girls behind the counter---polite professional service should not be confused with kissing someones behind, that attitude of theirs should be left in the hood.
