Amore Chapel

We decided to book Amore Chapel after a viewing. Fortunately, it looked just like the pictures on their website and Jeanne was knowledgeable and answered all our questions regarding how the ceremonies are done and how the marriage license is processed. They do not give you a certificate they give you a real marriage license. The officiant had very romantic things to say which made my mom cry. My fianceé and I wanted to get married quickly but wanted something more than the courthouse - maybe Vegas. I did a search online and found this chapel. I scheduled a viewing and it seemed just right for what we wanted. Money is tight and our other option was Vegas but that seemed too expensive with the travel costs and stuff. We were married in March and had about 15 guests and it was great. Jeanne was very helpful and the ceremony was simple. The minister said some very nice prayers and poems. I was happy because we got to have our family and friends there too. Nice service, people. Pros: Good price, no travel to Vegas Cons: None more

I would agree with what the other reviewers said. We liked Amore Chapel. We invited about 50 guests but less than that showed up which was fine. We liked the vows, the staff was courteous and the price was excellent. We decided to do express processing of our marriage license and that went smoothly as well. The reason I do not give it five stars is because it is not a luxury environment like the Crystal Cathedral. But then, I didn't pay those prices either. And it is in Duarte now not El Monte. Pros: Good price, all-inclusive Cons: If you want the Crystal Cathedral it is not for you more

This is my second marriage and we decided we wanted something with a smaller group of about 40 people. I did an online search and this was one of the chapels that came up. This chapel is no longer in El Monte, I do not know why CitySearch has not updated its records. I called made an appointment to see the chapel (along with a couple of other places too) and I liked Amore the best since the decor was contemporary. Some of the other places I went to had old dried plastic flower arrangements! The staff were friendly and helpful so I decided to book. On the day of the wedding everything went very smoothly and I didn't feel stressed. The staff took care of everything and told us what to do so my groom and I didn't have to think too much about it. It was just right for our second time around. I would give it five stars but I think that should be saved for more fancy and plush venues like the Ritz or something. This met our needs perfectly. Pros: Affordable, no hidden fees, good service Cons: Holds up to 60 guests only more
