It's about what you'd expect for an average pizza-sub place in the northeast. Every town in New England has a place like this. So-so food and pizza that's usually popular with the locals, but beyond that, it doesn't get much action.
I tried the pizza and the chicken-parm sub. They filled me up and weren't unpleasant to eat, but were not worth mentioning to a friend.
This is kind of sad, as I was hoping for real, New York style pizza to take the place of the now-defunct Uncle Gios on Nolensville Road, which served an amazing pie, but went under 2 years ago for some reason. Bricks just doesn't come close. Pie in the Sky is a close second, but Gios was really good. Amicos, is fair fare if you have a hankering for something other than Papa Johns/Dominos/Pizza Hut, and don't want to spend a few bucks more for better pizza at Pie in the Sky.
