Go Somewhere Else 3/2/2008

We have gone to AMF Western Branch for quite awhile. Every time we go, the service seems to get worse. There are long waits for everything, the staff is rude and lazy, and they are way overpriced for everything. The worst event was during a nephews birthday party and they gave away the lanes before the reservation and didn't even try to rectify the situation. If you put your name on the list, don't expect to play anytime soon. Now, if you go on a Friday or Saturday, they make you pay a $5, non-refundable, reservation fee if you put name on the list. That is just not good service. STAY AWAY! more

Bowling Leagues 11/29/2005

We have been involved in the Incredibles bowling leagues and pee wees / batham leagues. My kids really enjoy going and they loved getting their own bowling ball. They didn't tell us we would have to pay to get the holes drilled which was $20 a ball. I have had a lot of fun but their are times their service is really lousy. On Saturday mornings, it takes forever to get an order in for food and can get frustrating when you are trying to watch your child bowl. I wish the pee wee league would actually have a coach help them bowl and give them tips and Hi-Fives at times. We did come once on a Sunday and it took about an hour and half to get a lane. I do like that they give out pizzas if they get a strike or spare when then lane gets called and they have bowlers of the week which they get free bowling games. PROS: Kids love it, Nice activity if the weather is bad CONS: Birthday parties don't seem to go to smooth, high on prices more

AMF bowling 7/16/2005

I am not impressed with this bowling alley, the entire staff has an OH well attitude. Wach time we visit there is a problem, whether iit is a long wait or no lanes open due to league bowlers . I think they put league before the regular customer. We no longer visit AMF bowling becacause of the customer service issue. more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 7/10/2005

MADE RESERVATIONS FOR 5 YEAR OLDS BIRTHDAY AND THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS FINE, A FEW WEEKS BEFORE THE PARTY I GOT A CALL FROM THEM AND WAS INFORMED THAT WE COULD NOT HAVE OUR PARTY THERE BECAUSE THAT WAS THE DAY THEIR LEAGUE STARTED, THIS WAS NOT FAIR, RESERVATIONS WERE MADE AND THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO. THEY HAD A VERY LAX A DAISEY ATTITUDE AND WERE NOT ABLE TO OFFER ANY SOLUTIONS. BIG LET DOWN AND WAY OVERPRICED. more

AMF 7/10/2005

I am a bit disappointed in this bowling alley, It seems every time we go there is league play and there is a long wait to get a lane. It is always crowded with people just standing around. Cleanliness is so so . Staff is not nice. I no longer go there. more
